The irony of this thread is the reference to a TV SHOW to explain the "point"....

and the fact that TRUMP was a celebrity, a reality show host, and has been blathering on in books (that he didn't actually write), on TV, and in tweets for 30 years, whining about how horrible America is...

and now this celebrity is the president, and his pea brained base listens to and believes and defends every single dimwitted thing he says and does.

 

The only people that can't get over Hillary are the ones that endlessly post how everyone on the left can't get over Hillary. Do I hate Trump, nah. He's a revolting non-excuse for a human being but I don't hate him any more than I hate a cheap hooker. They are both just stuff I pick off my shoe. Trump is no different than any horrible dictator that uses a gullible following to keep him in power.

Here' is what REALLY bugs me about Trump. Trump, and his group of Brownshirts are a bigger threat to our democracy and way of life than a cholera epidemic. He is a lawless thug that insults our allies, makes love to dictators, lies, divides America for his own benefit, is a hopeless narcissist, an egomaniac, and is frankly quite mad.

And here is what worries, nay, panics Trumpland; that their boys is going to go down hard, is going to lose the next election, and probably will go to jail unless he resigns and Pence pardons him. He has surrounded himself with corrupt sycophantic turd polishers, incompetents and family members he put in ridiculous positions of authority. There is more corruption in Trump's White House than the Harding and Nixon administrations combined. I could go on but I hope, by now, I have unraveled your silly little TDS nonsense. People that cling to the notion that Democrats can't get over the loss for Hillary are intellectually lazy or scared that their little delusion will evaporate - proof.

I don't know if his wild ideas about people trying to steal his Presidency are paranoia or propaganda. I'm talking about people who think he's going to try to stay in office when he loses or he finishes two terms. The authorities would remove him.

No, because he's smart enough to know he would end up being removed by force, if necessary, and might even end up in jail. I haven't given it much thought because I know the military wouldn't put up with it. (I don't spend much time worrying about what I'd do if an large asteroid hit the earth, either.)

I have been saying that for a long time.

Trump is not fit due to lack of experience, lack of training, lack of interest, total lack of any moral character, ethics or sense of duty or obligation to serve in ANY position of public trust.

He does not view himself as a public servant, and he has little sense of obligation to the responsibilities of his office.

Indeed, after nearly three years, it’s obvious that he cares little about the actual job of being President, and instead draws his satisfaction from seeing his face on a television screen and making underlings grovel in front of him.

He is not much of a human being, and even less of a leader.

I have always thought that the best line that any of the 2016 candidates had on Trump was from Marco Rubio.

He summed Trump up perfecty. ‘

It went something like this. If Donald Trump hadn’t been handed his daddy’s money, he’s be selling watches in Manhattan.

By that, I took it to mean that he would be selling fake Rolexes out of a briefcase on Canal Street, and not standing behind the counter at Harry Winston.

I often wonder why Trumpsters still obsess over Obama and Clinton. Neither one of them is going to run for public office again, despite the fervent hopes of the talk radio right.

The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has been in the Get Clinton business non stop for 25 years now. Much of it is historic, hype, or complete fabrication. All things that right wing media is very good at and gets lots of practices.

Clinton and Obama are not on the national stage. Yet, multiple times every single day, Trumpsters rant about them on talk radio, the trash blogs bleat, and people posting on forums like this one parrot all that blather.

Running against the past in the future, is about as likely as the US going back to an economy based on steel mills powered by coal mines.

But in Archie Bunker America, they still think that “guys like us, we had it made”, back in their fantasy past. And that’s what Trump sells (at least the more savory part of his deplorable message).
