Gays can be discriminated against in housing, education, employment and public accomodations.

that means they are not treated equally under federal law.

    duhhhh

People have the right to discriminate

They are not discriminated against in public accommodations or education

Forbidding some people such as employees and landlords is not treating people equally under law.

Because it takes away rights from other people.

The law would not only end up criminalizing what it says is illegal, but would also end up criminalizing things that the courts or jury would interpret as being evidence that the law was broken.

So the whole idea is contrary to rule of law, on top of that.

It would harm businesses, and open them up to more stupid lawsuits, raising prices for everyone else as well.

We just can't afford this silliness of yours.

Wow, that seems rather fascistic of you. Does this also include other views or opinions they may have, on any other topics, issues or political matters?

If you could read you'd know that I asked if the equal opportunity had to be applied to straight male Trump supporters

I never asserted they could be.
Make up your own arguments to argue against much?

    What for?

    What's your point?

You don't like white christian straight males? How come?

What is it with all the racists and bigots on this forum?

And my guess is they all are Trump supporters and not Democrats.

Let me try this again, do you believe political affiliation is a protected class? It’s a yes or no answer

He doesn’t have a point. He never has a point. He just needs something to be outraged about.

You didn't even bother to read the post you responded to.

Thus, you spam the same nonsense.

The issue is public accommodation law and employment law, where we have federal law that protects some, but does NOT protect on the basis of sexual orientation.

That discrimination is what needs to get fixed.

This is not how it works under our constitution as interpreted by our SC.

A protected class is a class that has been identified and included by the courts as being protected.
