"scores"? It is estimated that one million innocent men, women, and children lost their lives.

The U.S. did not kill one million people in Iraq.

The U.S. is responsible for the deaths of a million innocent men, women, and children in Irak. You can deny if you want but you'd be wrong.
That doesn't make any sense and I think you have left the subject.

Most of the people killed in Iraq were killed by other Iraqis. Regrettable but hardly our responsibility.

Those not killed by us directly were killed by the chaos we created by invading.

500,000 died by the sanctions alone before we ever invaded so add that to the tally.

Like bombing indiscriminately in Syria to prop up a murderous chemical weapons-using dictator.

Actually, it's Putin who enjoys macho posturing. The story in this thread is just the latest example. He also speaks with a forked tongue when it comes to diplomacy.

Not American responsibility? That is one of the most irritating things I've heard yet.

No, but a lot of corrupt autocrats would like to see that order disrupted and brought down, because it consistently stands in the way of their ambitions.

Yeah but I'm sure that isn't the fault of the U.S. ..... that's the fault of the sanctions. :eyepopping:

US forces do not target civilians or bomb indiscriminately. To believe otherwise is to be wilfully ignorant and misled by disinformation put out by our enemies and adversaries.

It seems we can do no right by you. Are we supposed to leave murderous foreign dictators and their regimes alone? Is it better to let injustice reign? Especially when those regimes end up supporting terrorists who kill not only innocent people in their own part of the world, but ours and those of our allies as well? How much violence, instability and disorder are we supposed to stand back and tolerate?

You must have been in a coma all through the Wikileaks disclosures. And then there a hundred (at least) of My Lai examples.

Pick an example of when the U.S. has done right and then you will know. Too hard a task for you I imagine as the examples you've given (I didn't bother to quote the whole post) are all on the minus.

By and large, we always do the right thing. Mistakes happen, but as a matter of policy and practice we do the right thing.

Details. What did Wikileaks disclose that makes the entire US military and government bad? What great evil was uncovered that changes everything?

And where are the examples of these "right things" I asked you for? Too tough, much too tough obviously.

You frame the question as though everything is bad by default. I don't play that game.

You really were in a coma. Nothing from the WMD hoax forward was "right".

There was no WMD "hoax." But you always advocate against the US, always taking the anti-American disinformation/propaganda line and treating it as a factual starting point.

Still no examples of the U.S. in the "right". You are struggling I see.

We supported Saddam and provided him with targeting info against Iran knowing he was using chemical weapons.

9/11? You've got your choice of culprits ... the Saudis that hijacked the planes or the dancing Israelis set up in advance to film it.
