    it matters for the history books imo - the house needs to impeach regardless if the Senate does, and the Senate votes also need to be a part of history

    when repubs vote again impeachment it sets the precedent that future Presidents can do what Trump has done... and republicans can't say a word

    No, this thread was started because it is just another hate Trump thread. Well, all they got was another drive through nothingburger.
    Somewhere in my mind's eye, I envision all the malcontent lefties desperately clinging to the shards of manufactured drama created out of thin air by MSNBS and CNN. At some point in time, I would think they would realize how tired the average American voter is of all their shenanigans and how much damage they have done to their cause.

    Come on man, you know as well as I do or at least you should this is nothing but a show for the Dems rabid base. They gave nothing and they know it so they will give a proforma performance and try to keep this busted meme alive until after the election. Then if Trump wins they'll quietly **** can the whole thing and if the reps take back the house not only will it be **** canned Naddled and company may well get censured for their jackassery.

    If I were Congress, I wouldn't let him even have the possibility of a pardon. Congress has the legal authority to directly enforce their subpoenas. There was a time when they even had their own jail to hold people who were being charged with contempt, and the President can't pardon contemp of Congress.

    Therefore, they should reopen their jail, and arrest any Trump loyalists who refuse to testify. Won't be able to help them.

    If you are suggesting something similar to what is happening now, a claim of non-existent blanket privilege in order to justify not cooperating with any request for documents or testimony, happened during the Obama admin.............all you have to do is prove it.

    I'll be glad to. What would you like to know? Trump has committed criminal acts and has shielded himself from responding to them by surrounding himself with corrupt officials: AG, Secretary of the Treasury, Senate majority, Supreme Court,.... If this continues our Constitution will have failed to provide checks and balances and we will be at the mercy of a dictator.

    Which, BTW, Levandawski today declared under oath, and very reluctantly, to be completely accurate. Which means that not even the most psycho of Trump's sycophants can deny his crimes when questioned under oath.
