If You Are So Dumb That Voter Suppression Efforts Work-Should You Even Be Voting Anyway?

It was known that an investigation was on going against Biden's son and the company he worked for. It was also known that Biden asked Ukraine to fire that investigator. A President has the right to ask that country to investigate a problem that might be going on in that country by American citizens.

 

Your your right, they have caught quite a few in voter fraud with mail in ballots. But if they are going to use that then it has to be used uni-formally across the country. No better use than for a person that has disabilities.

The GOP voter suppression efforts include scrubbing people from the roll without notifying them until they show up to vote. Tens of thousands were illegally scrubbed from Florida rolls in 2000 handing the Presidency to Cheney/Bush the biggest lying war profiteers of our times. Anyone involved in voter suppression should be dragged through the streets from the back of a pickup truck and then pelted with rotten lemons.

In fact, a much better case could be made for denying people the vote if they vote for trump who is dragging America down to the level of idiocracy.

 

Its all about precedent and statistics.

Mandating voters fill out the proper paperwork first sounds fine, but it means people who lack the patience to operate within the bureaucracy go unrepresented. Then its only a matter of time until the bureaucracy moves voting day to coincide with harvest day, or a popular religion's 'no travel' day, or etc.

That being said, a balance must be made between access to voting, security of voting and accuracy of vote counting. Otherwise the process is pointless anyway.

Do you not find it odd. Every news outlet is pretty much telling the same story. Of course they are all telling the same story because they are all seeing the same drama play out.

Yet one, the president, who is accused of impeachable crimes, keeps changing his story. First he admits to it, so does his chief of staff. Then they denied it. Then they admitted to doing it but claimed it was okay for them to do it. As the witnesses began to testify, the message from the White House shifted to attacking the process. Even in quite dishonest terms. First they complained about witnesses giving testimony behind closed doors, and now they are complaining about public hearings. Then of course the White House is blocking witnesses from testifying. Blocking access to records and everything.

Yet your media, the one that marches lockstep with Dear Leader, tries to spin another story, tries to pretend things are other than they are.

 

I agree with you. Most of the jobs created since Bush's presidency have been low skill, low paying jobs. Most people who work for Amazon are 15 dollar an hour warehouse workers.

However, those 15 dollar an hour jobs sure beat the devastating job losses that occured during Bush's presidency.
