This doesnt explain why so many people THINK Trump can do any of this when he is a racist con man with a supremely low IQ who is surronded by criminals.

This is amazingly ironic.

Some people long for a strong authoritarian government. A government that will relieve them of having to think or make difficult decisions or be responsible for themselves and their actions. They hover around a strong authoritarian government, one that will confiscate the wealth of others and redistribute it to them in food, housing, health care, free college, and free spending money, and guide them to safety and isolation from others that don't share their opinions. The strong authoritarian government will give voice to their fervent wish that someone will speak for them and attack the responsible people who take care of themselves and want to keep the fruits of their own labor. A government with massive amounts of "PC" that will place them in a protected class of victims.

Progressives and their ilk. What the socialists/communists/progressives don't warn, however, is that with loss of responsibility also goes loss of freedom to think and act on your own.

On the contrary, Trump is all about transferring power from Washington back to the American people. Since the Dems worship government (it’s their religion), they hate Trump for wounding their Christ.

 

But what if the guy's method is to rid of the raccoons using rather strong poison, and he sprays it all over your house, poisoning you and your family and making extensive and expensive repairs necessary? Or even killing some of your family and making the house entirely unlivable?

(And I have heard of cases where exactly and precisely that has actually happened. The EPA is not ENTIRELY about protecting endangered owls. )

Trump isn't just bashing immigrants, he's attacking the basic principles that have made this country what it is, not just immigration laws but the precepts of freedom that have made it such a pleasant place to live all our lives. Most importantly by far, he is undermining our elections and our elections are about the most important right we have. If someone takes away your vote or steals it, what else do you have?

Legitimate refugees are ok. That’s probably 10% (or less) of those that claim asylum.

 

Umm no about treaty obligations. We have mexico on one side and canada on the other. Neither country is so bad that we must accept refugees from them. People coming from other countries do not have the right to shop around. They are required to apply for refugee status at the first country they come across.

The kids are a problem no matter what. Simple solution is that if you're going to commit a crime, leave the kids at home with mom. If you commit a crime, sorry, but your children will not be locked up with you.

What a crock. It is interesting that those who support Trump do their best to avoid reality. Well, here is reality. Here are just some of the consequences of the Trump Presidency. Can Trump's fans handle reality or will they avoid this reality, too?

Recent events have caused many to wonder. What is going on with Trump? Is it possible he is acting like a Russian puppet? Is he doing what Putin wants him to do?

Perhaps it is time to look at the facts.

We know Putin interfered in our 2016 Presidential election because he wanted Trump to become our next President.

We know that Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort, had Russian connections, and he is now serving a long prison sentence. Trump's deputy campaign manager, Rick Gates, also had Russian connections, and he is facing jail time.

Mike Flynn, Trump's NSA for a month, spoke illegally to the Russian ambassador and is facing jail time.

Trump's attorney general, Jeff Sessions, had contacts with the Russian ambassador during the election campaign, once in his office, and he had to recuse himself from the Russian investigation that was taking place from his office.

Trump's son, Trump's son-in-law, and Trump's campaign manager met with four Russian operatives at Trump's home, Trump Tower, in June 2016, for information on Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Nothing pleases Putin more than to see the American government in chaos.

More recently, Trump tried foreign interference in our Presidential election again. He attempted to extort the Ukrainian president to get him to dig up dirt on another political opponent, Joe Biden. This caused an impeachment inquiry.

The mission of any righteous Russian puppet would be to create chaos at the highest level of the federal government. Consequently, the House of Representatives drafted two Articles of Impeachment. If approved by the full House, which is extremely likely, Trump will face a Senate trial in January.

Trump has now dragged in the third branch of our government, the judicial branch. Every President since has Nixon has disclosed his tax returns to avoid any accusation of a conflict of interest. For reasons which are obvious, there is suspicion that Trump is being extorted by Putin, and the proof may lie in his tax returns. Trump has refused to disclose his tax returns. The Supreme Court will hear the case because it involves still another Constitutional crisis created by Trump.

You can't get any more chaotic than that.

Two Soviet-born, naturalized American citizens, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, who had been helping Trump's lawyer investigate Joe Biden in Ukraine, were arrested by the FBI. They had one-way tickets on a flight out of the country.

They were arrested shortly after having dinner with Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal lawyer.

Trump continued with his chaotic regime. Many will die as a direct result of his decision to order a retreat of American troops from northern Syria, giving Turkey a green light to annihilate the Kurds whom they regard as terrorists. His decision caused a national security threat for our country, and poses serious problems for the Western democracies, not to mention the betrayal of a valuable American ally that had destroyed the ISIS caliphate.

The Pentagon, members of Congress including the vast majority of Trump's party, and the American people are aghast at the dishonorable, incredulous decision Trump made. However, apparently the decision suited his purposes.

Trump's surrender to Turkish intents does not serve America's interests. Indeed, his decision has endangered our national interests, and there is only one conclusion a person can make. As long as Trump is President, America cannot be trusted.

On the other hand, other nations do benefit from Trump's decision. They include Turkey, of course; Syria and its murderous dictator, Bashar al-Assad; Syria's ally, Iran.

And Russia!

Yeah well, you call them refugees and I call them criminals. Sorry, but if you want to claim asylum, you can't do that within the united states. Any accompanying minors will require valid identification and parents will have to prove legal guardianship.

The UN is one way to claim refugee status, but I imagine it's also possible to do that via an American embassy.

What will happen if you bring the family on an illegal American vacation is that you will be put in prison and your children will be repatriated to their home country.

 

I agree; the entrenched Republican establishment is just as statist as the Democratic Party.

While I'm not a Trump guy, I believe this is why these establishment Republicans and the Democrats are so opposed to Trump being in office; he's an outsider who, while crude, is allowing normal Americans to finally see the corruption in Washington...

As I read through the comments on this thread, I note how some posters would prefer the guys who can't handle the job, and they throw stones at the guy who says he can.

 

In other words- Trump is not a fake, not presenting a facade for the public- and is actually keeping promises. Scares hell out of the dems.
I can imagine the fear that strikes in the hearts of the average politician, when they realize it is a precedent they will be judged by.
No wonder they are desperate.

They might as well resign themselves to it for 4 more years.... and then, to the next president which will follow in Trumps' footsteps.

 

No they don't they aren't citizens. No one gives a damn about legal immigration, except the tech workers that big tech says don't exist so they can hire H1b's at a 1/3 the cost of Americans,the problem is we've got thousands of illegals crossing the border every month none of them have relevant job skills, more than a few of the are the loser from the last gang war in Mexico looking for a fresh start in the same trade they had south of the border, and you wonder why people who don't live in gated communities are mad as hell. These liberal politicians don't have to deal with the problems they are creating by there list for power but the rest of us do.
