SO IF; The Holy Mother herself came back and walked among us as herself incarnate as our saviour; she can't be Pope and head the church, because of doctrine.
What is RCC stance on miracles and change?

    'Pope Mary'

I like the sound of that.

Both wearing silly hats, both wearing dresses, but I love them both.
But it's like, my Pope meets your Pope.
    I guess we're all screwed.

I'm assuming when you're talking about a woman being "pope" you realize she could not actually be called "pope". Since pope means father and it would be a woman, Catholics would not stand for that.
It would certainly represent a huge break with tradition.

They could call her "Reverend Mother" or something like that.

I don't see anything wrong with a Lesbian Pope, if she was Lesbian and felt like she could do right and help the world and the church.

What about the legend of Pope Joan?

Can't God the Father not work through a woman allowing for women to be ordained and called Father/Pope?

They have the Holy Mother Mary, why not, have lady Fathers or, Holiness or, Mothers but not Mary the Mother, but, Lady Priest Mother; I'm aware Nuns are the brides of Christ and called Sisters.

Maybe he doesn't but church hierarchy do....they run the show not some "he" floating around …

"In his image" ???....is "he" both male and female???
    :) :)
If he doesn't view either sex as better than why is he a "he" …..?????

NO, they aren't if they don't get to hold the same positions or have the same opportunities.

Certainly not in the Catholic Church....and an irrelevant comment...looks very defensive.

    .

THIS is what you are saying:

That men have their focus pride and ego so they get to lead and women have their focus on god so aren't important enough or good enough to have a leadership positions....:) Yup, that is what you just posted....

Very sexist and such a very very religious excuse to KEEP WOMEN IN THEIR PLACE....

BTW, women have pride and egos, too...why shouldn't they get a leadership position? Or should they squash their pride and egos while men can use their pride and egos..?

LOL, ya, just so it isn't that "pure" and "holy" Catholic church "family"

Then why aren't choices offered to Catholic women???

OH, GEE, you "forgot" to answer my question:

"""If he doesn't view either sex as better than why is he a "he" …..?????

I've regarded Nuns as being like Jesus' virgins for his afterlife.
Only now do I question its meaning of the words 'bride of christ'.
But I'm to take that as women serving men.

Pope means father, I learned, and, I knew nuns were Sisters and priests are Fathers, but I never knew Pope meant father until now.
However, I am confused because, isn't God the Father, Mary the Mother and Jesus the Holy Ghost?
So why do men get to be God but women can't get to be the Holy Mother?
Just 'Brides of Christ' a Sister at best, not a Father, not a Pope.

Surely, there is someway for women to become Fathers and Popes.

Mother Theresa was a Sister, now I'm confused, wasn't she like a 'lady Pope?' or a Nun known as a head Nun known as a Mother?
(I should watch Sister Act II again).

Can't a Nun/Mother rise to be like a lady Pope and have a woman in charge of the RCC instead of a Pope?

Make it Popes for males, this Nun/Mother/head like Mother Theresa's field, someone to be ordained from such high female ranks to head the church instead of a Pope?
Like male King, female Queen, male Pope, female Mother.
And have a Mother head the RCC?

Can that not happen instead? - so it's men and women being able to lead the church.

It sure would nice if people would read and comprehend the fairy tale and then they wouldn't waste time by asking silly questions that run counter to what the fairy tale says. If people want a woman pope then they should simply start their own religion like all of those other people did throughout history. That is fairly easy since people will believe anything, as all of the other religions has shown.

Lesbian or not, it would not matter.
A pope is not allowed to have sex.
So, one's sexual attraction is pointless.

Men compiled the bible. Wrote all the books contained in the bible. So they made all the rules.
    Women were created to serve.
And that is true for all 3 Abrahamic religions.
Most religions in fact, at this time of humanity.

Does a Woman have to die before the church listens?

Seems Mother Theresa qualified after she died.

The pope must be an ordained priest. Women cannot be ordained. So why can't women be ordained, you ask? I have no idea. It is canon law.

    It's quite simple really.
    The bible states it.

    1 Timothy 2
11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

It's 2021, there's a woke awakening going on and a cancel culture of all things offensive, what makes this sexism and open homophobia last week on the 16th of March not recognising gay marriage immune?

    Times have. Thankfully.

The RCC has not. At least regarding the topic of women popes.

If God is all powerful, then surely God is capable of change, or is that the one thing God cannot do?

    I didn't invent the god.
But I was a long time participant in a religion.
    God can not change.

Even though, God of the OT is different than God of the NT.

But the words written in the bible are set in stone.

It's also a main reason I no longer participate in a religion.
Too many rules that have no common sense.

I would not object to women becoming priests and bishops and popes.

The Bible also supports selling your daughter as a slave (Exodus 21). So is that something we would want to do today?

So did Adam look something like this?
