THAT IS AWESOME!!!!! Keep up the studying!!! I like that - people trying to gain knowledge. But, if your going to be quite knowledgeable in any subject, you must be able to defend and also attack that subject with validity!!!

I am a science/math major and work in biology for the Gov't.

      Team Science?

Do any of you have a degree in the science field outside of college (BS) or work in the science field?

I know I'm asking a lot. But, as I stated to 7th, could we stay on topic. God posts should be in God threads... There are plenty and you can create your own if you like.

I don't mind, it's just that you guys are posting like news articles...

Let's ask New poster 'Riordan' onto Team Science. He's doing a good job on the board.

      thx, i.bel

I take it as a great honor to receive recognition from nothingness.

The "assert without evidence" quote is actually from someone else (Dawkins, I believe? easily found on google, though), so, don't credit me with it. :)

Edit: Ah, I see you already found who said it.

I know what you mean all to well. I don't see how people can criticize things and say there not true when they don't even consider that they maybe true.
    10. Gregoriose
thats a good answer. thanks for the info. I hope I don't seem like I'm asking questions to be argumentive. A lot of people do. I'm just asking because I want to know.

I've heard that recently. I think my "boo boo" it that I should rephrase that. What I meant was more along the lines of the big bang theory vs. creation. On both ends you’d have to prove how something came out of nothing. I don't think either one can be proven at least in this life time. As far as how we got here, frankly I don't think it really matters now because where here. It’s interesting to look at. But in a way it’s irrelevant. The only question I have on evolution is that if we evolved from chimps and apes why are there still chimps and apes? Why didn't they evolve with us? Keep in mind I’m still a recovering Christian. I don’t see why Christians don’t consider that both theories maybe true. God creates the world and everything evolves from there. Why that can’t be true according to Christians. It even makes sense in there “timelines”. I wonder though that if perhaps it’s more of an adaptation thing. Like we aren’t necessarily going forward like in evolution be perhaps we are adapting to the environment as it changes. In the past hundred years with things like global warming the environment is changing a lot. I’m just pondering though. I think it’s important to the evolution theory to be question by evolutionist. I think they do though. That’s what hurts Christianity they openly refuse to question it. How can you have a valid point if you haven’t questioned it your self?

I'm well. I was wondering if there was anything that you agree and/or disagree with on my thread? just out of curiosity.
    13. Gregoriose
