Little rubio's wouldn't make out of committee and everyone knows it, his own party would have killed it. Thats the way it works, he sends a bill to committee, it gets killed, and then he can go home to his Cuban supportes and say, with honesty for a change, "I tried".
He has no credit in this at all.

It's okay NOW. DHS issues visas and thanks to YOUR President, G.W. Bush, DHS answers only to the President. Which makes this 100% LEGAL.

You don't like it? Yell at Bush for creating the unconstitutional DHS.

That you can't seem to form an argument against other than the usual cat box.

I should have said 'successful', none those were successful and one, the last one won't ever happen!
    My question still stands.
Conservatism and republicanism fails on every level, so why do you support it?

You've made it entirely too complicated for a socialist liberal to figure out.

You seem to project that I believe every invocation of EP has been for the same reasons. Pretty stupid.

Shall I now project false beliefs onto you? Nah. That's just stupid.

Actually, Rubio was against any kind of amnesty. Then three months ago, he came up with an alternate plan. The Dems have been trying to get a vote on the Dream Act for two years. Dan I know you don't like tose fact thingies but two years is longer than three months.
But hey! Congratulations! At least you posted about a topic!
In any case, I love that ConservaRepubs like Danny and BluesGuy - who are ALL OVER this board saying they are against any kind of amnesty, are now trying to give their party credit because you know "We GOPers were behind this long before Obama! He's stealing our ideas!"
The hypocrisy is hilarious! it's like Mini-Me's of John Boehner!

I will be voting for Jill Stein, because both of the other parties are incompetent and incapable of solving the problems this country faces. They pretend to have divergent ideologies, and in rhetoric they sort of do, but in practice both parties are influenced by the exact same set of interests. They are both corporatist parties. I want to vote for a non-corporatist party.

So did you figure out why it is OK for Rubio to do what he was doing and not Obama?

But they don't make the law. Are you saying you support DHS having the authority to pass any laws it deems fit and not obeying any laws Congress passes? You'd have been OK with this when Bush was President?

Is that suppose to mitigate what Obama has done? Congress passed the laws under which DHS operates. Bush didn't create it and the laws it operates under, Congress did.

I understand you are now trying to qualify your statement since you were shown were Republicans did what you said they had not. That being said the tax cuts and welfare reform were successfully passed and successfully lowered taxes and cut welfare. As far as the Ryan proposals, vote for Republicans to get them passed.

I am a fiscal moderate, social progressive, sorta hawkish on foreign policy. I'm voting for Pres. Obama. I support Healthcare Reform and am not in favor of deeper tax cuts, increased military spending and privatizing SS/Medicare. The next POTUS will get to nominate one, maybe 2 SCOTUS justices. I sure don't want any more Scalias,Thomases or Alitos on the Court.

The part you aren't getting is that Obama has not made a law. What he did is tell DHS, which takes orders only from him (thanks to Bush), who was and was not going to get a work visa.

It's no different than a cop choosing not to pull you over for speeding.

As always, you misread. My comment was that b.o. stole Rubio's idea. That was it.

Nowhere did I state I backed Rubio's idea. Just that b.o. stole it and his muddled instructions will make a chaotic immigration situation worse. If you're 29 and 11 months you stay and get a work permit. If you're 30 and 1 month, YOU'RE an illegal. But NEITHER has any birth certificate. Here's a new business idea for you.
    Hawaiian Birth Certificates
Guaranteed to pass an authenticity test.
    Only $500. or 2 for $950
    .

Rubio's bill might have been as bad.

    Question:
WHAT are we telling the 50 million people trying to LEGALLY immigrate into the USA. Better to break the law than obey it? That's a fine message.

Um yeah. And so the part about the Dems coming up with the Dream Act two years ago and Rubio coming up with something three months ago? So Obama & the Dems stole an idea they came up with 18 months before Rubio eh?
    Brilliant as always! LOL!

I'm voting for the libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. He is similar to Ron Paul when it comes to liberty, the military, and balancing the budget. I literally do not see how anyone can vote for Obama or Mitt. They are both proven hypocrites.

I understand that English may not be your first language and I will make allowances.
Some thing need not be qualified as they are implied at the out set (that means right at the beginning) but since some feel the need to pic nits and be, well childish.
I had forgotten that fact and I shou8ld have played to my audience, you all are conservatives after all.

As to your contention that those failed republican actions were a success, once again I fear that since I am dealing with a childish conservative that lives in a world of lies, distortions and twisted reality I fear I will be simply wasting my time explaining things to you.
The disaster known as the ryan plan, will if implemented, be the end of this nation. Thankfully it will never be implemented.

Everyone supports health care reform, the question is do you support Obamacare and the mandate that forces everyone to buy insurance and the government taking over the running of the health care system or do you support a more consumer based system where you still have the freedom to choose your health care.

But are you in favor of steep tax increases as Obama is running on in the belief that will increase revenues or in favor of growing the economy and putting more people back to work paying taxes as a means of increasing government revenues?

Or deep cuts to the military although I have seen no proposals from either side to change the projected spending.

So you are in favor of doing nothing since Obama has proposed NOTHING?

You prefer justices who do not believe the Constitution is what dictates what laws should stand or be rejected?

If you just want to trade insults then look elsewhere, if you want to have an adult discussion then try again. Other than that dodge noted.

The part you are not getting is that the LAW stipulates who can get a visa and for how long.
No it is the same as the governor saying that the speed limits on all state highways is now 90 mph. Only the state legislature can change the speed limits.
