I'd love to vote for someone with an accurate understanding of economics. Unfortunately, between Obama and Romney, I'd have to wait this one out.

    That shows your ignorance.
Anytime somebody says "they're all the same" or "neither of them are any good" it is a clear sign that they are too lazy to understand the facts.

    Obama in 2012? Seriously?

I will be voting for Obama again... certainly not as enthusiastically as I did 4 years ago, but he will get my vote nonetheless.

Why? I happen to believe in the tenets of the democratic party platform, and I do NOT believe in the tenets of the GOP platform.

ANd, most importantly, I do not want to give a republican the opportunity to nominate replacements for Kennedy, Ginsburg or Breyer.

What if I just disagree with both of them?

Not an option, obviously. You must join the sheeple in finding out which one you dislike less and voting for him.

Actually, it means they are educated and have a clue what they are talking about.

Between petty insults, you seem inclined to project inaccurate opinions onto anyone disagreeing with you. It makes you look stupid and extreme - and I don't think you're stupid.
I don't like ObamaCare and think it should be overturned. That being said, i saw Zero fromt he GOP in the way of meaningful reform. Oooh. I can buy across state lines. Guess what? I have been able do that for years anyway. I own property in two states and a business that adds another one. Guess what else? Premiums aren't any different and coverages still suck balls. So the GOP offers nothing there.
You seem to think that tax rates will magically fix the economy. The only thing disagreeing with you is.... all of history. I personally, don't think that raising taxes on the rich will do anything for the deficit but I'm not so ignorant, that I believe lowering corporate tax rates will do much. Ever heard of GE? Conoco Phillips? Comapnies that pay ZERO in taxes and still ship jobs overseas? Yeah those.
You're also wrong about cuts in military spending. One person has actually proposed MAJOR cuts in military spending. Over $100B to start. Guess how the GOP reacted when Obama did that? Oops.
And then there is the pure whackjobbery. If justices don't agree with you, they don't believe in the Constitution! Another internet Constitutional Lawyer! Got a Phd, Nobel Peace Prize and Purple Heart too? So you are qualified to determine what is / is not Constitutional because of...? Thought so.
Look, if you support the GOP because of their policies on say immigration (oops! bad example! Flip #3!), military etc... great. Share that. But any idiot can just attack what someone else says without offering anything of substance or insight. Why not take a crack at listing the specific policy positions that have you voting for Romney? Or is that setting the bar too high?

Hmmm. So the extent of your insight is a cartoon and a few petty insults. Care to provide specific policy positions that have you voting for Romney? or would that be setting the bar too high?

once again, Rubio's dream act was conceived April of this year.. and was dead in the water soon after.

Obama's was conceived and brought to congress in 2010..he stole no one's 'credit'..

Why the need to make so much stuff up just the hate the guy? Can't you hate him on truth?

I certainly agree on Obama's lack of knowledge about economics and I would add businesses but why do think Romney is lacking, what indicates this to you?

LOL! Dan and facts are a pair of tracks that rarely cross. This whole thing is hilarious to me.
Mitt v.1 Of course, there is room for compromise on immigration.
Mitt v.2 Of course, I would deprot anyone who is here illegally. It doesn't matter how they got here.
Mitt v.3 Well of course we have always supported the substance of what is in the Dream Act! Our guy invented it! We're just disappointed that Obama didn't let us do it in a bi-partisan manner!

    Too funny!

The platform tells you nothing, they never have. Why do you think Obama will be better for the economy, business and jobs than Romney? Or are you just voting to try to get a liberal SCOTUS and that outweighs economic issues?

Well, he isn't into the Austrian school of economics. I understand it isn't realistic to expect an Austrian economist to win the GOP nomination, of course, but nevertheless if someone isn't even knowledgeable of the Austrian school, I don't immediately consider them an expert on economics.

It's just my opinion, anyway. I might as well be arguing that I'm frustrated that neither is a libertarian, which is obviously to be expected. If I had to choose between the two, I would pick Romney over Obama, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be kicking and screaming whe--that doesn't mean I think he is an economic genius.

Luckily, I don't have to choose.

*Yes, I said it. You can learn a bit about the Austrian School online at mises.org.

I disagree with your opinion about platforms. And I don't think that either of them will or can have any real impact on an economy that is so driven by global fores outside any one government's control. And I most certainly AM voting to get a liberal SCOTUS.

Tell ya what, let's look into it. Do you like the fact that Obama signed the NDAA, extended the USA PATRIOT Act, bombs and sends us to war with whatever country he wants without Congressional approval?

Why not address the issues I already raised first?

I am voting for Jill Stein. Both Obama and Romney are dangerous thugs who are owned, lock, stock and barrel by the financial terrorists who wrecked the economy. Stein would end our insane warmongering and drone attacks on civiians, prosecute Wall street thugs, end the cowardly scapegoating of immigrants and in general promote policies that benefit everyone instead of the 1%.

Yeah but you run like hell from issues anyone else brings up, don't you? You're basically just another drone.
Are you going to address this? Probably not.
Instead of constantly bltching about how other people don't address issues or how other people don't discuss the specific policy positions of their own party, why not take a crack at addressing issues yourself or (Gasp!) listing the specific policy positions that have you voting for Romney? Or is that setting the bar too high?

    Probably.

Simple. I'm voting for Romney because Obama spends too much and he seems very dishonest.
