Michigan GOP congressman Rep.Justin Amash is now the first member of his party to call for the impeachment of Dirty Donald on the charge of obstruction of justice.Amash who says he based his conclusion on reading the complete redacted version of the Mueller report released to congress by AG Barr Barr black sheep. He also believes Barr Barr is serving Dirty Donald and not the U.S.citizens as his oath of office and the laws of our country require. He further says that he does not think too many members of congress have bothered to read the Mueller report.

Look everyone... a Republican that believes the Democrats propaganda more then they do.

Is this Republican brave or are Democrats just cowards. Where are the impeachment rallies?

Pleased to see this. Hope it is more than a one-off. Can never tell at an early stage if we are seeing the leak that will break the damn or the drip from a faucet that will soon be closed.

    yeah, I'll bet you.

    Election results from presidential races
    Year Office Results
    1992 President Bush 46 - 34%
    1996 President Dole 53 - 39%
    2000 President Bush 60 - 38%
    2004 President Bush 59 - 40%
    2008 President McCain 49 - 48%
    2012 President Romney 53 - 46%
    2016 President Trump 52 - 42%

I think he has committed impeachable offenses. I just don't want the country bogged down in impeachment proceedings.

I can't wait to see the Clinton case and the trump case comparisons. Many Democrats know nothing about what Clinton did. Makes anything trump might of done look like ripping a tag off a mattress. The Democrats will have to explain why Clinton got a pass for much worse.

Why, 20 mill voters died since then and 20 mill were added. What are we going to talk about Iran contra or Watergate? A 35 year old wasn't even in high school. What are you going to remind him of. There are going to be 2mill people voting who were not alive when Clinton was Impeached.

    WOW … a republican politician who isn't a coward.

Amash is a rare beast, indeed.

Trump is a republican criminal who should not only be impeached, but sharing a jail cell with his pal Manafort...

No Clinton lied in the Paula Jones Sexual Harassment Lawsuit. Establishing both a perjury and obstruction charge. There is nothing in the Mueller Report establishing anything so clear cut.

Whoa there!!!! I distinctly remember Clinton on the TV screen waving his finger at me and a few hundred million other Americans, and stating "I never had sex with that woman, Monica Lewinski"

As for the Trump "lies" - I suggest the word exaggeration be used since most of the "lies" documented by the fake news have been, when taken in context, are simple overstatements, overemphasis, aggrandizement, overplaying, dramatization, enhancement, elaboration, embellishment, and hyperbole.

If you're looking for an accomplished liar or twenty, I strongly suggest you look at the House Democrats.

You are correct, it is a republican district but has this guy changed his views since reading the Mueller report? I think not.

Amash was part of a group of Republican members of Congress who said they would not endorse or vote for Donald Trump. On February 26, 2016, Amash said, "Donald Trump, on the other hand, is genuinely terrifying and 'should go back to The Apprentice,'" according to Reason.com.[131]
"Amash has become a polarizing figure within the Republican caucus, according to Politico, and some of his colleagues aren’t pulling punches in taking on the Michigander and his hardline anti-tax, anti-spending, anti-federal government stances.

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., called Amash, "al-Qaida’s best friend in the Congress." Harsh.

A fellow Michigan Republican, Rep. Mike Rogers, said Amash is "completely out of line with" voters in his district.

"He votes more with the Democrats than with the Republicans, and that’s not out of principle, that’s out of him branding himself as something different," said Rogers, who has contributed $5,000 to Amash’s primary opponent, Brian Ellis."

I think that most congressional Republicans are quite aware of Trump's guilt. Yet apparently there was a decision to double down. It may turn out to be bad strategy, as the closer it gets to the election, and Trump is still fighting, it makes him look more and more guilty. If the Republicans turn their back on him now, there is still time for them to recover before 2020. As it is, the evidence for empeacement will come out during the campaign, which may not fare too well for Republicans.
