Most people who parrot US propaganda are financially connected to the US empire in some way. Either they work for the government or with the government in some way. You probably got a job in the government or with a company that does business with the government. There is some financial nexus in your life to government spending and that is why you went from being a reasonable and consistent libertarian to sounding like John McCain Jr. virtually overnight.
