Trump ordered US drone strike that killed Iran general Qassem Suleimani

Iran has committed acts of war for decades but they cloak it by using proxies. No American abroad has ever been safe. Maybe an actual response beyond 'better watch that ****' will change behavior?

When one is in a war - one is generally happy about killing the enemy. How many Iraqi's did we kill ? A couple more than 600 .

Now if the other party started the war - attacking another nation - in violation of international law - so much more should be the bragging.

What a moron Trump is. When asked about Qassem Suleimani some years ago, he couldn't tell the difference between the Kurds and the Quds. Of course, the massive hypocritical moron also went on to claim that the Kurds "have been very poorly treated by us." This from the dipshit who just turned his back on them and betrayed them. But that's beside the point! Why did this moron think that he had heard "Kurds" when it was said in the context of explaining who Suleimani was (head of the Quds)? He was so damned dumb that he had no clue about Suleimani, but played like he did.

Trump is ****ing deranged, and this is the guy now getting us into a new escalating conflict with Iran.

 

People said the same thing about Obama, as I recall, claiming that he would find some excuse to cancel the election. I don't buy that part.

I do think that Trump is anxious to wag the doge of his base, though. He wants to impress the hardliners, and being Mr. Bold toward Iran is one way to do that. I expect he also gets off on the thought of single-handedly ending our years-long conflict with Iran and defeating that regime militarily. Either way, it's all about his massive ego and winning the next election, and it's a certainty that he is too stupid to have any strategic plan. Even George W. Bush had some sense of "strategery." This guy doesn't even know the difference between Kurds and Quds.

Iran conducted naval maneuvers in the Gulf with China and Russia. Also Iran uses the barter system and trades in Ruble and Yuan, so I have no idea what you're talking about.

 

So what. Russia or China is not going to break a US blockade. Iran's theocracy is doomed. Iran's people are great. I've worked with many of them.

There is nothing that unites people more than an attack on them by a foreign nation. Right now there are tens of thousands of Iranians protesting throughout Iran and Westerners have been warned to leave Iraq, Syria and Israel.

 

Why would people earning a median income of average households of $885 protest ?? They are. And as Trump continues to ratchet up sanctions the theocracy will crumble.

Imagine an Iranian missile blowing to bits the US Secretary of Defense. Your outrage will be matched by Iranian anger. The killing of this man was clearly a calculated gamble, the question is whether it was a military or political gamble.
