NFL to play black national anthem at every game in upcoming season

Why should they?

Who cares if they stand or not? For any anthem...

 

EXACTLY. What about an Asian National Anthem? What about an Irish National Anthem?

Will the white players be forced to stand there with hands over hearts. Does everyone in the stands have to stop and listen and just stand there while the blacks sing THEIR national anthem.

And I thought it was all about us coming TOGETHER not this new Democrat segregation. I thought we were rid of the segregationist.

 

I guess then we should have a White National Anthem too, since the old one includes too many races to keep track of.

Democrats suck the fun out of life leaving us with a rotten husk.

 

What if you are in the stands, do you have to sit in silence while the blacks sing THEIR anthem?

Hey sponsors, if I'm at home watching the game and when the time for the blacks comes on I'll change channels to watch so game analysis or another game and change back later.

 

Years from now statiums will have to open many hours in advance just to have enough time to play all the pre game athems.

 

Hell no. But I would stand in silence because I respect my fellow countryman and this is important to many who feel oppressed.

I would feel no obligation to so do however.

Why not just grab a beer or hit the head if the 60 seconds is too much for you?

You have to ask yourself, what in the hell has happened to the black community?
Over the years they have worked more and more to segregate themselves from the rest of the country. It's ****ing amazing, I really don't believe this is the kind of thing that Dr. King had on his mind when he talked about seeing a persons character, and not their race. Truly is a sad time.

Here's a novel idea, find a hobby, go for a walk, play golf. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL will be just fine without tilted Trumpists.

 

What politics does the anthem inject or represent? I thought it represented every American no matter how they leaned. This is not the case with the black national anthem that doesn't represent a nation, but a race if which 87% of the people in this country don't belong to. How inclusive of the NFL.

The best part is that the NFL with what I assume is a massive and powerful marketing/ PR apparatus determined that, ultimately, will help them. Wokeness is the best way to make a buck, and that is yet another proof that racists don't have space in this country.

 

If you’re a football fan, just toon it out, or turn on the tv when all the symbolism nonsense is over, and then watch the game.
