Thanks man, I appreciate it. Sweet pic man. Golden Retrievers are the best. Mine are Labs (kind of), about the same air of nobility and good naturedness as golden retrievers.

I wondered if that wasn't the Molly in your sig line. I'm so sorry for you dude. I agree, it's ridiculous, but as we both know very true. It leaves a hole in your heart the size of a mack truck!

No, my dog didn't die, she ran away during a really bad rain storm. She's 8 - I did lose my Tanner dog last year though and that was bad enough. Usually we bring her inside, but this one caught us off guard while we were at work. We have a huge yard with a really good fence. She's been fine in it for the past five years, but this one time she got away and I haven't been able to find her. I suspect she ran away because Tanner wasn't here for her - he was her pack leader. I haven't given up looking for her, but as each day goes by (been about three weeks now) the hope fades just a little more. I've hit every pound, lost and found web page, door-to-door search, posted classifieds, etc. that I can think of. She had a collar with tags on it with our name, address and phone number. So... I fear the worst since no one has called. She was just a mutt, but she was MY mutt and I miss her tremendously.

Beautiful..just want to hug them. We always had labs until recently, have a little rescue dog now, but I'm going for a golden retriever next time. Are they are intelligent as labs, do you think? I understand they need even more exercise also.

Em...maybe I should browse the dog lover group, instead of bothering you...hehe...

Yeah I always liked Soccer/Football but it was harder in the late 90's to see it unless ABC or ESPN showed a game. I followed the World Cup and some MLS but there wasn't much. 3 years ago we got Fox Soccer Channel and I was able to start following the games. I've caught some of the Champions League matches this year cause we got a DVR and I record the games while I am at work. DVR's are so worth the extra bit to your cable bill!!

Well not long. Three years now. Haven't learned all the songs yet (or obviously well haha!) but I watch every time I get a chance. What got me into them was an appreciation of Torres as a tough and amazing striker. I also really Gerrard. How long have you followed them?

It's nice to see a Liverpool fan on here. Are there others?

"We signed the lad from sunny Spain he's gone and scored goal again, Fernando Torres Liverpool's number 9!!"

I am an Arsenal fan myself, but will side with anyone against Chelsea. Liverpool and United are my next favorites.

They lost, I can't believe it. Tores was like on holiday, one half assed shot the entire match. I was hoping they'd win 3-1

The reason I chose stupidity in my post was that I've been lucky enough to see the 'light of God' as some religious people would call it. Humanity is far more stupid than they can conceive -- an idea that is true for myself as well -- and although I can realize this -- it doesn't put me any farther above anyone else.

Unfortunately, realizing that I am a human doesn't allow me to not be human... if you get what I mean.

The essence of any utopianism is: Conjure an ideal that makes an impossible demand on reality, then announce that, until the demand is met in full, your ideal can't be fairly evaluated. Attribute any incidental successes to the halfway meeting of the demand, any failure to the halfway still to go.
