Pain got nothing to do with this ! not even rights of children, this is a removal of a very important organ and is banned in many Muslim countries it is by no means similar to foreskin removal, y'know you can face the truth and STILL be anti Israel/pro Palestin anti Jewish or whatever man, this is plain as sun in midday, the clitoris =/= foreskin, the head of your dick = clitoris, do you understand the anatomic diffrence between the two ? do you understand that removing the means of sexual pleasure goes beyond religion and removing foreskin does no such thing ? you can't pass opressing women by mutilating them and covering them from head to toe with dark garments as non related religoius practice.

Another poster brought religion into it saying both should be legal or illegal accordingly - that's when I stood on the diffrence between a piece of skin and an organ, a diffrence you ignore for political reasons I dont buy it for one second you dont see the diffrence.

And I chreish your thoughts on circumcision but this thread is on the cutting of clitoris practice and the fact the UK has 400 cases a month, 2nd only to Somalia.

 

The cutting of the clitoris is female circumcision. All circumcision, male and female, is barbaric

 

There is a big difference between removal of a foreskin from the male penis, and mutilation of a females genitalia, the former is removal of a simple flap of skin, the later a harmful mutilation that affects the ability to achieve orgasm.

Male circumcision improves hygiene and reduces the spread of STDs and doesn't interfere with normal function. Female circumcision has no such benefits and I would think renders the normal pleasures of sex, impossible.

So what's wrong with routine daily hygiene? There's no need to mutilate the child's private parts without anaesthetic in order to maintain hygiene.
