None of those events you mention involve people in real time, right now. I'm just trying to learn world politics. That's pretty hard to do when no one knows ANYTHING about what's happening in Libya. How does the question: What is the current US State dept relationship with the Libyan president? have any connection to area 51 conspiracies etc? I would love to hear Nuland or Carney answer that question in a press conference.

I was using historical "questions" as a rhetorical device to give credence to my premise that the truth will eventually come out, but not necessarily in the time frame or context that the public, the partisans or the media would like.

Its hardly a scandalous coverup. It might be an cover operational cover up regarding both the CIAs and ambassadors presence in benghazi, but I don't think there is any nefarious plan to avoid "culpability". I don't think that the state department et.al. pulled any triggers I don't think that the "reaction force" could have arrived in time to do anything more than put out the fire and it doesn't seem like indiscriminant "droning" would have achieved much more other than killing more people who may or may not have been involved.

When a story like this gets to the point where even 60 minutes can't ignore it we have reached critical mass and Obama better start worrying. Time to throw Hillary under the bus.

Hillary and Bill have already separated themselves from Obama, because they know that no narrative is ever going to explain what happened in Libya besides the true one: AQ + Islamic extremists took over yet another country in the ME in their decades long war against the West. It sounds to me like someone didn't like the true narrative 1 month before an election, because it no doubt would have affected the election if the story was told as it should have been.

Then why the black-out on all info out of Libya for over a year? There isn't even a general narrative of what is happening in Libya right now. It's a big blank, and that is unacceptable. My leaders need to explain their actions in this region. I can understand maintaining a level of secrecy around single events, but to maintain a level of secrecy about our entire foreign policy toward a country is ridiculous. How can no one see this?

There's plenty of news on libya. Its just not getting reported in the media bubbles of America.
I think it has something to do with the fact that American media can't handle more than one or two stories a cycle.

When was the last news report about Afghanistan or Iraq?

Want to know what's going on in libya? there's plenty of sources available

Exactly, foreign sources are reporting on it. And those sources indicate a militia force of 18,000 with this emblem Libyas-Petroleum-Facilities-Guard-660x330.png

has shut down Libya's oil production from 2M barrels a day to 200k per day. A militia force created days after Benghazi. I'd say there is a news story here....

America does not like to reminded of their failed expectations.

But FYI - there's all kinds of crap going on in the world that qualifies for "if the world only knew".
Fer instance, if The Lord's Liberation Army and their victims weren't black, the world would be all over those barbarian murderers. As it is, the congolese had to wait for a black president to send some SFs to fight them clandestinely.
