Who's combating the 'TM'? We are simply pointing out the lies of delusional, individual 'truthers'.

None of you even agree with each other. That's hardly a movement.

Have you ever considered that feeling smart is something we enjoy, and that hanging around with 9/11 deniers is pretty much a guaranteed way to feel smart?

    LOL

    How is it different?

The mere fact that someone profits from something after the fact does not mean they caused it. Period.

Did you allegedly go around injuring them, or are they really injured?

you mean 9/11 delusionists.notice how they always run off with their tail between their legs since they know they will show off their ignorance if they try and counter this post.thats why they never try and just do this.:ignore::-D yep.

whats ironic is thats what you official conspiracy theory apologists do.talk about blind sheep who follow.you worship the governments explanation of events no matter how absurd and pitiful it is and have the logic that all these top level intel officers, scientists, architects, engineers, experienc ed pilots, firefighters experienced in explosives are ALL lying and the government and mainstream media is telling the truth.good one not to mention you ignore how cheney and bush profited in the millions from all this. you obviously slept through junior high school science classes like all OCTA'S did.

Let me repeat the basic premise again: Merely because someone profited from something after the fact does not mean they caused the incident.

Your position is the logical fallacy of "post hoc ergo propter hoc."

Anyway, 9/11 denial is dying, both here and in a larger sense. I'll have to find some other loons to make fun of soon.

Maybe tax protestors will make a comeback.. haven't had one of those kooks in a while.

It happpens with lawyers, and for (*)(*)(*)(*) sure it happens in government.
$100,000 is nothing compared to Hundreds of billions of dollars.

I have no doubt many of our federal officials, elected and appointed were and are heavily invested in the corporate entities servicing the wars. It has been this way since the beginning of government and the corruption it breeds

Santa Clarita, Valencia, Canyon Country Injury Lawyer Discusses Swoop and Squat Scams
There are a lot of crooked people out there. Unfortunately, some of them are staging car accident for illegal profits.

There is an odd truth about automotive accidents, and that odd truth is that not all automotive accidents aren't really "accidents "all of the time. Some of the time automotive accidents are fabricated productions where drivers can unknowingly and unwillingly be turned into actors in a terrible scene. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation website, staged accidents cost insurance companies around $20 billion dollars a year. With economic times being the way they are, dishonest methods for increasing cash flow are definitely on the rise, as they normally are during uncertain periods. One of the most common staged scenes is the "swoop and squat" accident.

WHAT IS A "SWOOP AND SQUAT"?

In a typical swoop and squat setup, two conspirators drive through the streets looking for a lone driver to take advantage of. Normally the car driven by these conspirators is some old and beat up "junk" vehicle. They normally target city roads, with two lanes traveling in each direction, and minimal potential witnesses nearby. When the conspirators spot someone driving alone, with no eyewitnesses close by they "swoop" in front of the victims vehicle and the "squat" hitting the brakes so that the victim rear ends their vehicle. Since these scams typically occur on city streets, usually the damage to each car is minimal and no serious injuries are sustained by the victim or the occupants of the perpetrating vehicle. What then happens next is what costs the insured and their insurance company lots of money in the long haul.

The co-conspirators evacuate their vehicle and survey the damage to the rear end. They will typically be optimistic and estimate the damage to not be much, and report that they did not suffer any injury in the accident. So long as the victim does not claim to be injured, the conspirators suggest leaving police and insurance companies out the accident and remedying the situation themselves. They exchange contact information and say they will get an estimate for the cost of repairing their back bumper.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE "SWOOP AND SQUAT"

A few days pass, and rather than an estimate from a body shop, the victim receives a phone call from an attorney representing the perpetrating driver who informs them that the damage sustained is much worse than originally thought. Furthermore, he reports that both victims are now experiencing back pain consistent with "whiplash" symptoms and that both parties are now under the care of a chiropractor. At this point in time, the victim has no other choice but to involve their insurance company.

Without any eyewitness accounts or a police report, which the conspirators suggested avoiding the victim is facing a hugely challenging situation. Without this crucial evidence, and essentially the leverage to beat the opposition, often times the victim will just assume to pay the cost of the medical care for the other driver and passenger, as well as the compensation for the pain and suffering rather than tying up the case in the legal process. The insurance company will then either raise the victim's insurance rates for what they consider an "at-fault" accident, or could potentially cancel the policy all together.

This is only one specific manifestation of a "swoop and squat". These scenarios are not limited to just two cars and kept on city streets. They can often involve up to four cars, and occur in higher risk places such as highways or freeways. The scam networks that operate these scams can be huge, and the most elaborate schemes can involve corrupt attorneys, doctors, tow truck drivers, police officers, ambulance workers, etc. Swoop and squat car accident fraud is by no means a new invention, but has become far more common and prominent within recent years. Additionally, officials are finding huge rings responsible for these scams that are responsible for millions of dollars worth of fraudulent claims every year.

So what does all this mean for you? This means that even if you were truly injured, these people make it harder for you to convince insurance adjusters of your injuries. They have seen a lot of scams. Unfortunately, this crooked few can cause many adjusters to be skeptical...and for good reason.

Someone doesn't understand Latin apparently. Post hoc ergo propter hoc means 'after the event, therefore the cause of the event.'

Your argument falls into this category of fallacy because you have not proven that someone is the cause of the event simply due to the fact that they benefited from the event.

The argument is based on a flawed relationship between things that happen after the event and things that caused the event.

Basically you wasted your time cutting and pasting that long post because it is specious to say that since some lawyers are the cause of injury in order to benefit from the injury, all lawyers who benefit from injury are the cause of injury.

a hypothetical question. What if, on 9-11-2011, there were only 9-10 terrorists and not 19 and the targets were just the NY World trade towers (i.e. the Pentagon plane did not exist and the failed White House plane did not exist)?

Would the USA government response have been:
    1. Similar to the failed attempts at bombing the building in ~1993 (i.e. essentially nothing).
    2. A rational and massive 3-6 month bombing campaign directed towards Afghanistan and Pakistan with UN support.
    3. Exactly the same as has happened (i.e. a nearly 10 year invasion and occupation in Afghanistan and nearly 8 years in Iraq) with the development of several new government agencies (i.e. Homeland Security, TSA).

My contention is #2 and that the Pentagon and White House planes sent fear into the wealthy elites in the USA. The completely irrational response of spending all of the taxpayer money and more towards "safety" really has to do with protecting politicians and not USA citizens. Anyone with even a basic knowledge of statistics can easily see that heart disease, car accidents and violent crime are far more deadly than terrorism in the USA and the massive government expenditures are just cowardly attempts to save "important people" at the expense of everyone else.

Violent urban street gangs slaughter MANY more innocent people than extremist Muslims on the other side of the world EVER managed.. MANY 9/11's worth in fact.

I'm skeptical to anyone who claims these foreign wars are just to protect innocent Americans at home, if so why are they not appropriating anywhere near to comporable funds and action to protect them against the violent gangs that take over entire communities!?

I looked it up like you did, my "cut and paste" is within context of the quote.

All the info about the events of 9/11 come from one source, with many parts being locked up. The general public can not investigate the event and decide for themselves what the truth is. I may not have access to parts of the national archive or the archives of our investigative and intelligence agencies to prove the corruption, but neither do you have access to disprove it.

Men and the governments they create are inherintly corrupt, they are able maintain this corruption through the lackeys and parasites they are able to contract and employ.

These parasitic lackeys will do whatever it takes to maintain the status quo, to preserve their self interests.

I did not need to look it up like you did.

When you're involving yourself in debates it behooves you to have a working knowledge of debate. You should familiarize yourself with logical fallacy, and look for it in arguments.

If you did this, you'd probably stop taking the position you're taking. Your cut and paste was an application of 2 fallacies. I pointed out one of them.

    Can you name this one?

    1. Swoop and swat scams are conducted by lawyers.
    2. Crooked people conduct swoop and swat scams.
    3. Lawyers are crooked people.

    How about:

    1. Sometimes Federal officials benefit financially from decisions made by their office
    2. Sometimes Federal decisions cause suffering.
    3. Suffering is caused by Federal officials deciding to benefit financially.

Under this cup...no..it's under here. Ridicule when all else fails (page 7).

With the team being so large in here, you'd think the lies would be more focused. Ridicule seems to be the teams strongest focus. I wonder why? LOL
