A straightforward question: Why do some of you think Trump is not "legitimate"?

He is far from an idiot but I understand your need to attack him on that level. And Lewis never said or suggested or indicated or implied that he is "attacking Trump claiming that definitions #1 and/or #2 weren't met". That is your own fabrication in the hope of winning the argument by sneaking that by. But it's false.... -making the illogical thing you, "sweetheart".

    You're still losing.

--in your biased opinion. Prove Lewis was relying on definition 1. Remember that when asked "why" he raised the issue of Russia's intrusion into the election and the damage done by Comey and maybe Russia to Hillary's chances. That has nothing to do with the electoral college or the Constitution's formulations on the electoral college. It was obviously Lewis' opinion and not a legal judgement by Lewis.

Well, for someone to comment on something they know nothing about was my point---so, yes I can say you are wrong!
Another point that I would like to express is that there is something that has caused Congress to request an Investigation, they are barred from saying anything because the information they have is classified---I say declassify it & let the American people be the judge-
I personally thought trump should have been disqualified when it was found out that trump employed a known Russian operative( Paul Manifort)as campaign manager--huge violation of election laws & or collusion---
But,whatever--the OP is about giving reasons why we feel trump is not legitimate---I gave my reasons---no matter how you feel my reasons need to be laughed at & dissected----Won't change the fact that I will never accept that trump won legally or legitimately-----

He doesn't need to say it, as i explained in my previous post, when the grown-ups discuss legitimacy of the presidency, they discuss definitions #1,2. When you grow up, you will too as you'll understand that all other definitions don't apply to elections and that your games are silly, not clever.

Take that up with Lewis. I don't expect it will affect his opinion. He would agree that the electoral college rendered its vote according to Constitutional law. He couldn't possibly say otherwise. But he can still hold a different opinion as to legitimacy based on other definitions of "legitimate".

I hate to point this out to you, but Trump did better in every state (and often WAY better) than all of the polling data.

It sounds like you're trying to say someone hacked the actual voting system in those 3 states. Well, we know at least one of them had a recount. How did that go?

If there was any hope of actual ballot manipulation, the left would be breaking it's neck to get to SCOTUS.

I mean, they're embarrassing themselves with attempts that are other-worldly in their ridiculousness, but they haven't touched ballot tampering with a 10 foot pole so that alone should tell you something.

Also, just because you have access to some kind of database, doesn't mean that the information that came out of it was based on good data going in.

    That theory is just deluded.

    Lewis huh?

Didn't he do the exact same thing the last time a Republican was elected? Oh yeah, he did.

He didn't show up to Bush's inauguration either.

Sounds like a racist to me.

You should change that fact to opinion. Seeing as how she clearly was never winning since she, you know, lost! But the rest of your entire post is also pointless and foolish because it rests solely on 2 unproven baseless things. The first being the tiresome worn out "trump and putin" gimmick you guys just can't let go of and the other being that if not for the Comey "intervention" Hillary would have won. I challenge that regardless of comey releasing that statement Hillary still would have lost and I challenge you to prove otherwise.

It's also pretty laughable when you say pathetic things like Hillary won the debates. Oh and your ideas that she won those and was winning were based off of all those moronic polls that we all now know were utter garbage. What was CNNs poll on what the EC score would be? Trump would get less then 50 or something like that? Lmfao

And the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy planted all of those evil deeds that Hillary was accused of? She was framed! Shoot the messenger, ignore the message.

We elected an alpha-male who doesn't take crap from anybody. I know having a man in charge is a shock after the beta male who will leave office in 3 days, but get used to it.

Obama's win was legitimate from the legal standpoint, but he was elected because he was black, not because he had any real executive qualifications. He was a lousy Senator - I know, because I live in Illinois - and he never had a real job beyond Community Organizer (mob management) and Constitutional Professor - whatever he knew about the Constitution seemed to have eluded him once he got into office.

I'll take a business man that has spent decades actually building things that work.

No, he's as stated: a thin-skinned man-child. Are you so unable to see that he is very emotionally troubled?

Perhaps Hillary should have been disqualified after she approved the sale of 20% of US uranium reserves to a Putin controlled cartel after a donation by members of that cartel of $140million to the Clinton Foundation. Obviously she acted in the best interests of herself and in the best interest of the Russian dictator, against the interests of the American People while she had taken an oath to represent the American People.

I hope Trump Justice Department opens a probe into all the Clinton Foundation pay to play stuff so we can see how badly the Clinton Criminal enterprise sold us out.

No. I see the special snowflakes on campus, in Hollywood, and in the far left ivory towers are emotionally troubled that they can't accept his election and are threatening violence to disrupt the proceedings.

    - - - Updated - - -

    That's "Racist". You spelled the description of Lewis wrong. He appears to be someone who can't accept the idea of a white man in the Oval office;

    Oh please.
Trump is a playground bully, and bullies are cowards.
Barbra Streisand is more of an alpha male than Trump, who hides in his (literally) gold penthouse behind lawyers and bodyguards and hairdressers, raining down insults on the hoi polloi. He's about as tough as cotton candy.

WOW! It is so obvious to so many of us. Are your blinders in place? Maybe that's the problem.

That is racism on your part. Egad! Maybe it's the old saw, -he who is racist cannot recognize racism.
