Third party update; RFK Jr. has qualified to be on Utah and New Hampshire’s state ballots and is in the process of getting on 10 more state ballots, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, New York and Texas.

No Labels has ballot access in at least 14 states, worth 123 electoral college votes: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, and Utah. Signature gatherers have another 14 states in their sights between now and November, though the major parties are throwing up their usual obstacles. Although they haven’t settled on a candidate.

Of course, it will all depend on how much money RFK Jr. and No Labels can raise and spend will determine how viable each are. Since 1960 the presidential candidate that raised and spent the most money won every time with one lone exception, 2016 when Clinton raised and spent 1.191 billion to Trump’s 646.8 million. All other third party candidates in 2016 raised and spent a bit more than 3 million dollars.

I doubt that either would be coherent.

All the more reason to have one.

Because natural gas is a clean-burning fuel, good for the US economy and good for our allies who have stepped away from Russian gas.

Let's see ... for one thing this sets Russia up to sell fuel to Europe and that helps them fund their Ukraine war. The EU can go to coal as an alternative so it kinda defeats what is the alleged goal.
Don't you get the sense that Joe surrounds himself with a bunch of young dim-witted radicals telling him he'll be a historic figure when he abolishes every kind of fossil fuel here in the USA?
They'd be the same ones who adopted DEI for every aspect of Joe's Administration.

Last I knew NG was prefered over the other fossil fuels. But my point was wondering why it was a problem to put a pause on to ensure that the terminals are not going to provide a negative environmental impact

The third, four and maybe even fifth party looks more and more likely. Few people are happy with the Biden - Trump choice.

The conventional wisdom is that it will hurt the Democrats more. I don't think so. The Democrat voters are dedicated and loyal to their party. As the court cases mount up against Trump, more and more people will abandon him.

I can barely stand to vote for Trump myself, but I'll have to if he's the Republican nominee. The only third party guy I would consider is Joe Mansion. The trouble with him is that he got snucked when he voted for Biden's bogus "Inflation reduction bill." Mansion was fool enough to think that the Democrats would keep their word and vote for his pipeline if he gave them his vote. They didn't keep their word, of course.

For many Democrats, they don't care if Biden is brain dead. He's nothing but a figurehead any way. The real power lies with the Obama and the people who control the Biden puppet.

Even the Biden puppet fails, the Democrats can ditch him at their convention. Some people are betting that Michelle Obama will be be Democrat nominee. That would give Barack his fourth and fifth terms as president.

Because the "negative environmental impact" is imaginary but the damage to business plans and our allies is real.

Third parties can be spoilers, but they have never won. The two weak candidates could result in low voter turnout. In that case, Trump has the advantage. Trump’s fans are fanatical. They WILL VOTE.

Who is fanatical about Joe Biden? Nobody. There are people who strongly dislike Trump. That could be a big motivation, but usually support makes people more likely to vote.

I doubt any third party candidate can win, but I think both Biden and Trump are vulnerable enough to lose votes.

If she were to be elected, you would hate every minute of her administration. Aside for committing political suicide on the January 6 Committee, her whole political career has been devoted to supporting the positions you despise.

I would have to hear her political positions on issues. If she had a comprehensive climate change policy, I might support her.

There are many of us, and we're not happy.

I'm looking forward to the debates and what excuse democrats are going to use to keep Biden off the stage.
