AGAIN, I never said I wanted to control what women do with their bodies....you are making it obvious by "misrepresenting" what I say that you are desperate and don't really have an answer or an argument. Is the woman in the hypothetical discussion an unintelligent animal that is incapable of exercising intelligent thought, critical thinking skills, or understand how sexual encounters may very well lead to pregnancy as a result? Is she a slave to physical and biological urges and instincts that render actual thought an impossibility? Humans have the internet, medical books, and countless other data that animals do not possess. They are devoid of an excuse for not understanding that one directly leads to another. Humans are free to engage in a great many activities that yield negative consequences if they so choose. Most are simply smart enough to refrain from actually doing such. Why did she not refrain from engaging in behavior that would create the problem in the first place?

Such is the problem with the human species. For all of its technological developments and society, it is nothing more than yet another dumb species in the animal kingdom, made up of individuals with no self control, who believe they must act upon an impulse the moment they become aware of it, all the while believing they should not have to deal with the negative consequences of such behavior. If it is not sexual encounters, it is violence and murder committed over hurt feelings. If Roe v Wade is overturned, perhaps she may have to.
I did not say a pregnancy (child) is a woman's responsibility entirely. I said it's her responsibility to say no, if she can't raise a child. VERY different proposition.
First, no one here has ever said women should give up sex. All we say is: don't do thinks which make babies, at times when you're unable to care for a baby. That is TEMPORARY. If it's not temporary .. and you spend your entire life unable to care for a child, you're beyond the scope of this conversation, and possibly in jail or an institution. Second, you actually think we want women to try this approach to please us, and not to ... I dunno ... save a few babies from being aborted? Time for another 'wow'.
It's not MY business to tell the rest of womankind what to do with their bodies. I'm not sure why you guys keep insisting that that is done? It seems you really do want to control women. My 'concrete' action plan is to take responsibility for myself and my daughters. It's the most concrete plan there is. If we all try a little harder to make wise choices, then we're all self-determining our way out of poor outcomes.
