Gun control is not the answer. I would say that regardless of today's events, or any of the horrible shootings that have occurred. The culture is the problem. It's the root of the problem, and the one you have to fix. Taking away guns, which would mostly be coming from the hands of people who weren't going to use them for crime in the first place, is only going to leave guns in the hands of the police and criminals. It will not make you any safer. It will not solve these problems. It will create new ones. This is one area where the right has it mostly correct, though I don't agree with the unrestricted access to guns that some more hardcore righties argue for. Sorry lefties.

That boy (Adam) looks like he was a sick child. I think we owe it to those he killed to take a good long hard look at this kid so we can at least try to understand why 27 people had to die at his hands. I think we really need to know how this kid could have perpetrated such evil. Something isn't making sense right now however, we await all the facts.
It seems that whites specialize in school and mall shootings while blacks and hispanics prefer drive-bys in neighborhoods. Based on the evidence you might get beaten up by blacks and hispanics at schools but they won't shoot you there. They'll wait till you get home. However, when you go to school or to a mall keep both eyes peeled for the white guy who will shoot up the place. That's the lesson for the day.
How do you know she was a feminist? I haven't read anything about Nancy Lamza that even hinted at any type of feminism. All of the reports I've read have been light on the details about her. A few neighbors who had a couple generic anecdotes really. We know she had guns, and I saw one article quote a neighbor as saying she used them responsibly. Where are you getting your info to make this claim?
Why his Kindergarder teacher mother need a Bushmaster M-16 assault rifle, and 2 high capacity Glock handguns? How many guns you need anyway, to defend yourself? Is that little town they live in, overrun with violent criminals and drive by shooters? Why have guns in the same house with a mental ill kid, obviously not secured, and easily accessible to the kid? Why not have law that says, if you have mental ill kid, prone to violence, and you also keep guns, unattended, not secured in the house with such kid,( also not properly supervised,) that YOU THE PARENTS will ALSO BE CHARGED with GROSS NEGLIGENCE. He got out his frustaration on everyone as revenge.There are two main ways of preventing this kind of carnage : 1.Engravement to make it more difficult to get a gun. 2.The welfare authorities have to raise supervision,it seems to me that many Americans feel lonely and betrayed.That is probably what leads them to do what they do.
