There's a lot of black guys out in the swamp in jon boats hunting ducks and fishing too. There's even black guys and white guys in the same boat hunting out in the wild.

And those jon boats are all-weld fine boats, not cheap one bit. And outboards, just price outboards. You got to eat your kill to pay for the outdoorsman hobby. These are sophisticated gentlemen out in the swamps of Louisiana.

There are only two kinds of white people in lib la la land where Tom lives

Either guilt-ridden white liberals are racist conservatives

Its all binary for these folks

Good luck with the sponsored aimless cliche!

What do you think of the right wingers moaning about government, despite the fact that government coercion originally derived capitalist markets?

I think Govt is great when it acts as a client, or when it supports markets

So you think coercion is great when it creates markets? You must get excited when developing countries want to use tariffs to protect infant industries!

That's not what I said. I said it's great when Govt acts as a client or when it supports markets. You literally quoted me so not sure why you got it some wrong.

Sounds like you don't understand economic history. Government created capitalist markets with protectionism. See, for example, the Kicking Away the Ladder analysis from Chang. I was simply asking whether you are consistent with your logic. Do you support the use of protectionism by developing countries, or do you condemn it as big bad foreigners trying to cheat good ole America?

Not at all, I have no problem with that, if and when necessary. I have no problem with a nation doing what they think is in their own best interest. I was just simply highlighting you misquoted me.

Urban America has had a "population advantage" over rural America since the 1920's.

    Try and catch up!

I didn't misquote you. Please don't make stuff up. I asked for more detail. So you're happy for the WTO to be reformed to assist the developing world (and stop the unfair trade relations with the likes of the US and the EU)?

    Yeah you totally did.

Yes I am. The WTO is loaded with corruption

Continuing to lie does you no favours

Please present evidence of this corruption. It beggars belief, given the US is attacking its objective dispute settlement system.

My goodness...you literally quoted me then stated I said something different. Now you are calling me a liar? I never said what you said I said. It is that simple

Again you tell porkies. I did not quote you. Happy for you to prove otherwise. Copy and paste the made up quote that you have made up! Good luck

A question is a quote? Wow, when did you manage to reinvent the English Language?

The question refers to an attempt to get you to comprehend the meaning of your argument. You should be thanking me, rather than making up untrue accusations.

I never said anything about govt coercion. You intentionally misquoted and misrepresented my position and then called me a liar for calling you out on it.

I'll go through it slowly for you. I asked you a question, using that to describe the full repercussions of your argument. You said I misquoted you, even though you've admitted that I haven't quoted you at all. You continue to make baseless accusations, despite that reality.

    Where's my thanks?

You literally quoted me...go back up....and read your post. You asked a question, totally misrepresenting what I said at all. I never once said anything about Govt coercing people or businesses. It's really that simple and frankly shocking you are behaving this way since it's clear for all to see.

Again, that isn't true. I have not quoted you, neither can you show otherwise. You seek to think you can make stuff up. Perhaps you'd also like to suggest that I killed the last unicorn with Uncle Dave's longbow?

Sounds like you're not really aware of what you type, as I expected when I asked the question. It is historical fact that, to create markets, most countries used protectionism (ie government coercion). You crowed that it's great when governments support markets. It therefore makes logical sense that you support the use of protectionism for economic development. It also makes logical sense that you find the US's position on multilateralism problematic, given they've done their utmost to stop WTO reform and maintain unfair trade relations. Of course I'm assuming consistently here. You're perfectly free to exhibit hypocritical views.
