American terror plots since 9/11: Muslims vs. Non-Muslims

I don't remember anyone every saying that we should completely ignore Islamic terrorism, which the above accuse. That was not the point in the article at all. The point is that Muslims seem to be targeted for questioning and others aren't. The fact is that a lot of people conveniently ignore the role Muslims play in stopping plots by other Muslims.

And when has there ever been a case against moderate Muslims. No one is worried about Moderate Muslims. The problem is that the current trend is that more people are turning worldwide to the radical Muslim side then turning to the moderate Muslim side.

If Radical Muslims represent a small fraction of the population, yet their numbers are causing the greatest amount of threats, logic would have it that all Western countries should do whatever they can to name and reduce the number of radical Muslims.

The question becomes then, how do you go about doing this?

80 plots resulted in a few dead. 46 from Muslims resulted in thousands of deaths. Id say the # of plots has little significane.

 

I agree with what your saying. However, if there is a clear profile of what constitutes a radical Muslim, those groups should be sought out and dealt with (please not a reference to camps or any other nonsense)

I did not accuse you of lying. I believe your family suffered at the hands of white men. I'm 70 years old, I lived through segregation and blacks being treated as less than human.. Saw it while I was in the service and stationed in the south.

If we were being attacked by Buddists I would be all for investigating what goes on in Buddist temples. But we are not being attacked by Buddists are we. If we were being attacked by Christians I would be all for investigating Christians. If we were being attacked by Hindus I would be in favor of investgating Hindus.

It is not profiling when you investigate criminal suspects when following leads to a crime. It is stupid to investigate everyone (knowing you don't have the resources) because someone complains they are being targeted.

Just because a person is a suspect doesn't mean he is guilty...he is just a suspect.

When a person comes to this country they should follow the laws and customs of this country. If they do not like what they see here... they can get the heck out.

 

If you saw a black man on video robbing a bank would you consider it racial profiling if the police started looking for a black man?

If I saw a white man running from my house after my child was murdered would you consider it racial profiling if they looked for a white man?

My point isn't that we shouldn't be looking for Islamic terrorists where they exist, but I think these hearings do not serve a useful purpose. We already have the FBI, CIA, and Homeland Security to find genuine threats. These hearings only serve to demonize Muslims. The icing on the cake is that these hearings were pushed by a man sympathetic to Irish terrorists.

Muslims have been responsible for between 10,000-15,000 acts of terrorism WORLDWIDE each year for the past decade. The fact that we have been relatively spared thus far from this genocide is simply a matter of luck. Congressman King is (*)(*)(*)(*)ed well right to address this now before we become victims of our own stupidity and political correctness. Our unwillingness to address reality has already ended our role as world leader, lets not let these same people end our lives as well.

 

We have an AG that can't allow the words 'radical islam' to pass his lips. We have systemicly expunged the word terror and terrorist from DHS.
