Actually he wasn’t angry at all. He was calm, said what needed to be said and left the meeting. And yes there are witnesses of the meeting who know the truth of the matter. This really should be an opinion and not a current events news article.

While many prefer the street to living in a barracks shelter, I think most like a private space. In any event, they don't belong on the streets, even if sleeping on the sidewalk or under a bridge is their preference.

More revenue sources, especially for large cities.
    On that we disagree.
The minimum wage. We could solve some of the problem with a negative income tax.

A negative income tax approach makes sense to me. It also made sense to Milton Friedman.

He planned to leave the meeting. He walked out and said the BS he said in front of the signage created for his plan.

Both Nixon and Clinton were able to work with both parties to create significant amounts of bipartisan policy while they were under serious investigation.

Trump is a punk kid who states he has no intention of ANY bipartisanship of ANY kind. In fact, he sees his power as a partisan weapon.

Yes, Friedman was a fan. We could get to a point soon where training and supervising some workers, even if they worked for free, is more expensive than automation. What do we do with those people? Fortunately for yours truly ... I'm old enough that probably won't be a major problem in my lifetime, but it's coming.

I don’t care if he was angry or not. He was stupid, and his little stunt fell flat with everyone but his true believers.

The man is a spoiled little child. Everything is about him.

The man was right to do what he did. Mueller found nothing. It’s time to move on. As long as congress continues what it’s doing we can run the country by pen and by phone. Sound familiar?

They had 35 pages of proposal with them at the meeting.

And seriously save the bullshit argument that her private internal meeting with her own caucus to explain why she and the other leadership did not want to pursue impeachment right now is "baseless."

    You convince no one else.

Oh dear ****ing god. Even if Trump said that he cancelled the meeting because he did not have a plan for paying for the infrastructure deal, would you take that bullshit from that pathological liar and accept it as fact?

Your belief does not comport with the facts.

After the GOP tax cut, total revenues dropped once you account for inflation. The amount that it did rise was significantly lower than what it would have been, all other things being equal. The GDP never even hit 3% for the year and then revenue fell, on the back of corporate tax revenue dropping by like 25%.

Do you also factor in inflation as you balance your checkbook?
Do you believe the value of your home collapsed?

I do not do funny accounting. I and others did a lot of budgeting for one of the largest Real Estate boards in America. Do do not try to teach me budgets.

We would be laughed of town by telling the full Board of directors we were in trouble due to using Mr ELegals system.

We have had very good accountants examine the books and they did not use your funny math.

How about you and Pelosi and Schumer just prove with facts?

Sorry I am not so nieve or partisan as to swallow made up Democrats excuses. It was quite clear why Trump shut down the meeting. Pelosi arrogantly showed her arse before going to the meeting.

Where is it? Let's see it. How many poison pills are in it. How do they propose to fund it.

Yes they have no basis for impeachment yet as she left that meeting desperately trying to hold her party together she walks out to the cameras and to the world declared Trump a criminal engaged in a cover up of a crime she can't even name.

Automation is often more cost effective for large businesses. Small businesses and individuals will always be able to find important jobs for unskilled workers, but what they can afford to pay them will usually be less than a "living wage".

It is not hard to find jobs that need to be done:

    option.

I bet you could find work for a hired hand if it was a practical option for you.

There are already workers who are more trouble than they're worth even if they work for nothing. As time goes on and technology replaces workers in businesses of all sizes, we'll see more workers become unemployable at the minimum wage, and even at any wage.

Small businesses use technology to eliminate workers, too. Accounting programs replace bookkeepers, computers replace stock clerks, and so on.

Everyone is using technology to eliminate work, but most idled workers are worth more than nothing.
Even released felons and addicts could be productively employed by some individuals and small businesses that are familiar with the problems that make them worth very little or even less than nothing until they manage to create a record of productive work. Cleaning windows, bagging debris, scraping and sanding in preparation for new exterior paint, pressure cleaning sidewalks and other surfaces....there is no end to such work.

You keep saying there's no end to work for cheap labor. Now, there's a lot of work (not necessarily at the minimum wage), but what about 2050?
