Are black people and white people equal?

Can you give me an example of a group that is completely different from all other humans?

Which genes do they not share? Can you give me some examples?

So it should be easy to come up with some examples then.









Many mutations that people associate with a particular racial group have in fact occurred multiple times on many populations. Even populations which may never have directly bred with each other.

 

You posted exceptions, which are by definition in contrast with the rest. Sometime a recessed gene can come out and a black with blue eyes could born, so what? I said that we are surely all cross breeded, we all share the same origin, which are the first living cells ever, not only humans, but all living beings. But still we are not the same as mice and crocodiles, just because we share some dna with them, do we? Differences exist and always there will be, even among members of the same race.

 

The exceptions disprove the rule. There are no clear and distinct races.

So, in order for you to say "these two groups are genetically distinct and do not share traits" you would have to first define the criteria. Which traits specifically? You have to define the group before you can say it is different from other groups.

The differences are dramatically less than you think they are. See my quote above. More genetic variation exists within supposed racial groups than between them. I could be more genetically different from you than from a Black or Asian guy.

 

I would say no.

Whites as a group appear more intellectually gifted, while blacks appear dominant in athletic endeavors.

 

There's no evidence that suggests racists are as intelligent as a dog turd, but that doesn't stop them from thinking other wise.

I'm not a churchgoer. The strange ways in which churchgoers segregate themselves are a source of confusion for me.

 

Yes, actually. This is what science has determined, anyway, as far as my own understanding goes. They share almost all of their genes, and the ones that are different aren't the ones you would expect. Genetics turned out to be a ton more complicated than people thought when they first invented the idea. Because of the ways DNA expresses itself, two tribes of Nords separated by a mountain might have less in common genetically than either of them have an African tribe separated from both of them by a continent. I realize that sounds counter-intuitive, it just turns out that DNA works in counter-intuitive ways.

It certainly gave me a Chubby, I agree with Mick's post more than I can say. Do you have anything specific to argue with Mick's points, or are you simply relying on the "feel good gee I wish things were this way so they must be" attitude that is common on the left?

But conservatives are black people's "true friends", eh? I mean some of them consider blacks inferior to whites, but that's just good ole tough love!

 

You just don't get it. I'm a Conservative and I believe that no one is equal regardless of their race. What you obviously are confusing is relating equality of species with equality by or for opportunity. Chew on that for a while then come back with one of your nonsense one liners. We'll be waiting with baited breath I'm sure.

I believe there is no such thing as equality.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses, mental and physical.

For every Arnold Schwartzenegger there are fifty skinny unmuscular guys. And so on.

What I am for is fair treatment and rights and liberties under the law.

 

We all gravitate toward similar peers. It isn't just chuches.

 

Why do people just hollar racism rather than address the points. Issues can only be addressed if they are acknowledged.

No one is equal, and who would want to be equal anyway? You want equal then try redistributing the wealth and implementing socialism to see how happy each of us becomes.

 

Racism has no point. You can not argue with racism. Racists, and I am not talking about forum member but in general, those whom think their race is superior, by definition reject logic, reject facts, and embrace, willfully ignorance.

Racism in the sense you describe it is pretty much extinct in the US. Atlanta is very diverse and we get along quite well and treat one another cordially.
Racial tension is often misunderstood and labeled racism.
I am curious sometimes about what makes some international peeps think there is some huge race problem here.

 

I disagree. I see rampant racism on a nearly daily basis in both words and deeds.
