Says the people who spent the last two years putting their faith in the guy who blew the anthrax case, the olympic bombing, missed 9/11, and was involved in the Whitey Bulger debacle.

Expect your narrative to need a lot of work soon.

See McKeever v Sessions as that is currently the guidance for release of GJ testimony.

There is a grand jury convened so we'll see. If you really want to get to the bottom of all this, it's a necessary stance. Bottom line Trump got investigated for 3 years so now we're going to find out if it was on the up and up or Our Government illegally spied on a political adversary. We the citizens need to know the truth to have confidence it was.

So you learned not to do so after the Mueller investigation?

Announced by whom? Don't mistake this for the investigation that began weeks ago out in the I believe Utah US Attorney's office.

Durham has been on the case since early March. Leaking by targets hoping to undermine the investigation is why his appointed is being announced now.

There is overwhelming evidence that the FBI was running a biased and bellicose shadow operation aimed at the Trump campaign.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-fbi-so-wrong-in-trump-russia-wiretap-warrant

The simple question now becomes, "how much of it was illegal?" And did members of the DNC and Clinton campaign commit crimes as well?

Perhaps because of its conduct, which was laid out in very ugly detail in the Mueller Report. Oh, but the poor man was being picked on!

I'm reading the parties' briefs today.

It appears that the 2nd Circuit has applied Rule 6(e) in the federal rules for criminal procedure has interpreted that rule much more expansively than the DC Circuit Judge did.

What I like about the Durham choice is that he was the guy that exposed mueller for letting innocent people rot in prison to cover for Whitey Bolger. That slick move by mueller cost US taxpayers around $100 million in judgments.

A little birdie also sez that Durham knows that the mueller "investigation" was a part of the cover up of donk criminality.

Lol.. sure they did... the FBI investigation several people associated with the Trump campaign because they were correctly assumed to be accepting help from many different Russian sources.. Mueller proved that 7 ways from Sunday, even if it wasnt technically illegal..

Fire away.. I've seen nothing reported to date that even approaches a level of not acceptable..

    Thank you, FBI!

Did you take my sarcasm about hypocrisy seriously? My opinion of anonymous sources by credible outlets is “more likely true that not”. in most cases.

So you think we need a new special counsel to investigate Russian meddling?

And just out of REALLY idle boredom today, what exactly would be the differences between "examine the origins of the Russia investigation" and "reviewing aspects of the Russia investigation"??

Hasn't Huber been on the job for 18 months?? What, they don't have the internet in Utah??

This was merely an announcement of an administrative change not a "anonymous sources said soandso said sosandso to sosand and soandso told soandso."

Since Mueller took Crowdstrikes word for what happened and didn't actually investigate it, why not.

We can expect the Democrats to commence personal ad hom attacks against John Durham, as they do with Barr, Trump and anyone else who isn't on their side. That's always been their go to strategy.

I saw the further reporting shortly after I replied. He has been working with the DIA and CIA on leaks since 2016. This totally ramps that up and more and now will seat a grand jury with this appointment by Barr.
