The FBI did not disclose that "derogatory information" on the FISA app ... in the box reserved for "derogatory information" on the app.

Gee, do you think it might have had something about RUSSIA TRYING TO SWING THE ELECTION TO TRUMP? THE MUCH-BALLYHOOED Devin Nunes memo about alleged FBI abuses proved to be an on-its-face flop. And then it utterly fell apart.

Even at first blush, the memo was an oversold piece of hackish partisanship, as my colleague Pat Garofalo, along with a variety of others, ably demonstrated. The memo confirmed, for example, that the Russia investigation did not start with Christopher Steele's "dossier," and didn't even attempt to address the substance of the former British spy's research; it also ignores that there were three extensions of the surveillance against then-former Trump adviser Carter Page, at least two of which seem to have taken place under the Trump administration, indicating that there was some there there to the investigation, because such extension applications are required to show that the surveillance is actually producing new intelligence.

Even if you take the memo on its face and assume that all its charges are valid, it still doesn't make any sense, as Paul Rosenzweig, a former Whitewater investigation staffer, demonstrates in Politico Magazine and a trio of Lawfare experts argue at that blog.

 

Same claims were made about the Mueller report and you all still have egg on your faces over it.

The same Memo the Dems tried to block claiming it was outing sources and classified information? The same Dems that want Barr to release Grand Jury testimony breaking the law? The same Dems that are threatening Barr under arrest if he does not break the law?
