But what happens if all of these investigations conclude (as they almost certainly will) that the original investigations were warranted?

Will you say that this prosecutor - who was hand-picked by Trump's lackey Barr - was somehow an Angry Democrat? A Never Trumper? Part of the Deep State? You'd better get your excuses lined up.

 

There's already enough evidence to indict several RINOs and their Obama era leftist allies in the soft coup attempt to take down Trump, but what this is about is making as many connections as possible and showcasing the big picture. It's already fun to watch our leftists pucker up as more and more investigations into what really happened and WHY, occur. What's interesting is watching them object when heretofore they were all FOR fully funded and open ended investigations by the federal government into POSSIBLE corruption and collusion. But now . . . mysteriously . . . now not so much.

Because it all has to be investigated and then dots connected and deals offered and perhaps process crimes accused . . . just like the RINOs and their political allies did in regards to the Mueller Investigation. Mueller didn't BEGIN taking people to court until after his investigatory process was pretty much exhausted; and even then he strung it out for political reasons for at least another year. Our leftists were collectively just FINE with that legal methodology. Now . . . not so much, eh?

 

Yep . . . it sort of gives one a new appreciation for fully funded and open ended fishing expeditions. For some reason though, our leftists suddenly seem to be against that practice. It's a great mystery.

 

I'm fine with investigating and charging. Mueller went to the grand jury when he had enough evidence to get the indictments. You say there is ALREADY enough evidence for indictments.

So - why is anyone waiting? And, have you got your excuses ready for when there aren't any indictments?

So far, all we really have from the RW fever swamp / tinfoil hat wearing / conspiracy theory crowd is: "the investigations have started. This is the big one!"

Let us know when anyone actually gets charged. I won't hold my breath.

Durham's probably not going to have to do any investigating. Odds are IG Horiwitz will deliver a cooperative co-conpirators hed to him on a platter. All he needs to do is seat his grand jury.

 

You actually hit on an important point about past investigations. That Barr is keeping this in the DOJ is a positive sign instead of an open ended special council that goes on for years but these investigations often end up doing nothing, at least visibly as the departments do a lot of CYA.

That is interesting and disturbing. Law enforcement unions usually provide the accused agents with legal counsels while being interviewed, so how the 5th A would apply after not have being invoked IDK. Anyway ... I suspect Horiwitz has cooperating witnesses who will testify before a grand jury voluntarily. Durham should only need to offer now or never plea offers to pin down all the soldiers. I hope Comey opts to be disgraced during a lengthy trial. ::
