    It's also dehumanizing to allow children to go hungry, neglected, abused or without a home. It's dehumanizing to allow mothers to go without those things too. Abortion is obviously not ideal, but if someone finds herself pregnant and she can't care for the child when it gets here anti abortionists don't seem to have a plan for providing that child with a quality life. It's also dehumanizing to allow a mother to die because she can't abort in a fatal situation. It's dehumanizing to force her to give birth to her rapist's baby. Abortion becomes an option in the worse scenarios and no option is pretty. That's why I'm pro choice. Abortion is a worst case decision, but one each person with their doctor should be able to make based on their specific situation. Who am I to tell someone else what they have to do?

    Every individual state in America has a plan for providing for ANY child if not wanted by the mother. There is no cost for using this plan. Everyone thinking of this horrible practice should be aware of this fact. Why is it not?

    Aborting in a fatal situation is ALWAYS allowed. Rapists babies may be aborted and should always be in my opinion. Abortionists killing fetal humans will not be allowed in Arkansas by next year using healthcare or women's rights as an excuse. Still; The "right to choose" will finally be a human right in the interest of liberty for 11-weeks. This will lead to free abortions of gestation for 11-weeks. This was not planned with Arkansas Act 301 but is the obvious result next year.

    I am "pro-choice" but there is MUST be a clear time limit for this choice.

    Curtis J. Neeley Jr. v Louis Jerry Edwards, et. al. (15-7059)

    The may be "ignored" by some but WILL be considered by SCOTUS in conference on Jan 8, 2016.

    So then you are OK with killing born children because of their circumstances? If not your post makes no sense.

    You: ""Every individual state in America has a plan for providing for ANY child if not wanted by the mother. There is no cost for using this plan""

    Yes, there is a cost to the woman for having baby and giving it up. But from your posts you have no respect for women, their human rights, and certainly not their human dignity.

    Your 301 crap is off topic and if you have to insert it into every thread then it's obvious you have no argument, that you are desperately flailing around to make a point.

    Your 301 HAS NOT PASSED.............you make NO point with it, it is irrelevant, it doesn't matter and it's wrong ....

    There is a difference between unborn and born...see, that's why there are TWO different words. One means born and it's spelled "born"...one means Unborn and it's spelled UNBORN....see the difference now???

    NO where did the poster indicate she was OK with killing born children. That is an inflammatory, ignorant remark...

    No I'm not ok with killing born children. My point is pro-lifers are often also anti welfare, anti "handout", anti sex ed type people too. There are thousands of homeless and starving children in my city alone. When they are all fed and clothed, then we can talk about the role of abortion. We can't feed or house those we have, why is it a good idea to bring more humans into the world we can't care for?

    Look, I'm pro choice not pro abortion. I would love to see abortions disappear, but I'm also a realist. The best way to reduce abortions is comprehensive sex education for everyone, and to start that young! why are so many pro life supporters against sex education? Another way to decrease abortions is easy affordable access to birth control, to which many pro life supporters argue tax payer shouldn't have to pay for someone else's birth control. People with those positions must be ok with abortions then because you cannot have no sex education, no access to birth control and no abortions. If you really want to see abortions go away teach people about sex and give them the tools to have it safely.

    There ARE no fiscal costs for this natural process.

    Well, the anti-301 position is futile because Senate Bill 134 PASSED and then was vetoed by Mike Beebe. Senate Bill 134 then overrode a Governor veto and after doing so became Arkansas Act 301.

    Arkansas Act 301 IS A LAW PASSED BY ARKANSAS WOMEN.

    The best argument for banning abortion is the original thread.
    The best argument for banning abortion of a human fetus at 12-weeks is the fetus is a helpless, viable, individual human not yet able to survive outside the female/mother.

    I am pro-choice and argued abortion of gestation should remain a human right for 11-weeks and be an inalienable right for this entire time. Gestational healthcare should/will be covered by Medicaid and Medicare and be wholly private. Taxpayers must pay for this healthcare and have no standing to learn if this healthcare included abortion of gestation or did not. The difficult choice to abort gestation after conception yet before 12-weeks must remain absolutely private but must be provided for as a public gestational health concern.

    Curtis J. Neeley Jr. v. Louis Jerry Edwards, et al., (15-7059) SCOTUS docket follows.
    ~~~Date~~~ ~~~~~~~Proceedings and Orders~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Sep 8 2015 Application (15A368) to extend the time to file a petition for a writ of certiorari from September 16, 2015 to November 15, 2015, submitted to Justice Alito.
    Sep 16 2015 Application (15A368) granted by Justice Alito extending the time to file until November 16, 2015.
    Nov 13 2015 Petition for a writ of certiorari and motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis filed. (Response due December 23, 2015)
    Dec 7 2015 Waiver of right of respondents Louis Jerry Edwards, et al. to respond filed.
    Dec 16 2015 DISTRIBUTED for Conference of January 8, 2016.
    Ignore this perpetually if you want. SCOTUS already hasn't and the general public will not either very soon. SCOTUS already is aware of how this must resolve to be honorable and so is anyone who reads this.
    Doctors killing human fetuses and calling this "killing" healthcare will END in Arkansas in 2016 and then very shortly nationwide. This will NOT be a surprise for too much longer or at least shouldn't.
    I suggest people here look and read where I (not even a lawyer) tore your Act 301 to pieces because it is based on flawed evidence and wishful fantasy, there is nothing in the USA Constitution that protects dignity. Even the UN's universal declaration of rights in 1948 provided that "all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights" under its article 1. - http://www.un.org/en/universal-declaration-human-rights/ nothing about the unborn in that statement.
    The 14th Amendment deals with born people as stated in it's opening sentence, where as the 9th Amendment is simply a statement that other rights aside from those listed may exist, and just because they are not listed doesn't mean they can be violated. You have yet to show that the unborn have any such rights whether listed or not.
    Wrong .. The Constitution and laws protect BORN people and not the unborn, no law could be passed to fit your fantasy unless the foundation of the Constitution were to be changed
    none of the fantasy above will change a thing, even if by some small miracle you manage to get this passed you still have the self-defence argument to address .. which you have run away from at every turn.
    The self-defense argument is morally bankrupt and will NEVER be presented by an attorney, politician, or judge. The female placed the fetus inside her and this will be a waiver of liability for normal fetal gestation
    Yes, the archaic law is on your side and allows an individual human to be murdered because a female chooses to kill this growing human. Allowing this choice for 11-weeks should have been enough. The ACLU did make a liberty preservation argument but did not include either self-defence or self-defense.
    Merry CHRISTmas. One virginal teen mother chose not to abort after she agreed to "magically" become pregnant.
    The law in question is 50 years old rather than Archaic and people like you have been trying to eliminate it since its inception...to no avail. One would hope you are bright enough to understand the futility you represent, and the absolutely disgusting Egomaniac displayed by expecting YOUR opinion to be used when someone elses life and body are in play.
    Don't even try the "But It's A Little Human" crap because it is old, used, inaccurate, and rather pathetic.
    No, but it is the season for reasoning about babies.
    SCOTUS recognizing the dignity of a fetal human after a unique heartbeat and circulatory system develop and after this unconscious individual human is supported by a placenta is a solid scientific foundation to assist SCOTUS in making application of human laws more honorable in the United States than with the dishonorable "viability rule" being applied now.
    Millions of women in Arkansas; and most on earth, as SCOTUS will soon see, agree 11-weeks is more than enough time to choose to kill the "blob of cells" which will mature into a "viable" fetal human with a heartbeat by 12-weeks.
    If this does not begin early next year; the 20-week ban of killing a fetal human will occur soon after the next election as a Constitutional Amendment which will recognize the dignity of human life from fetal heartbeats until natural death and thereby forbid the death penalty with specific exceptions.
    The last Constitutional Amendment will also: 1. restructure SCOTUS to be honorable and have term/age limitations, 2. repeal the "Apportionment Act of 1929", and 3. specify human rights are for individual human people and are not for corporations to wholly repudiate the Citizens United SCOTUS mistake. European Courts are more honorable than ours and this is too obvious.
    Please DO show an unbiased, factual, scientific account of a 12 week old fetus that survived outside the womb.
