Back in 2006 it was already decided that Hillary would be thrown under the bus and Barrack Obama would be the Democratic Presidential candidate.

It was also decided back in 2008 that Hillary would be the Democratic Presidential nominee for 2016. Bernie Sanders didn't have a chance.

To a certain extent @APACHERAT is right and it was in all the news. The difference is that it is still a vote but the party wheels and deals to get the votes. For instance the DNC super delegates all went for Hillary.

And a clear dichotomy between pocketbook issues and issues of national security vs. the so-called culture wars.

Documents show that the United States Treasury used $220,000 of tax payer money to settle a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment committed by Florida Democrat Alcee Hastings against one of his staffers, reports Roll Call.

It is worth noting that Rep. Alcee Hastings was indicted by a grand jury in 1981 for accepting bribes as a Federal Judge in exchange for a shorter sentencing for two-mob convicted felons, according to senate.gov.

Following years of committee proceedings, the Senate found Hastings guilty on 11 of 17 articles of impeachment. Former Ku Klux Klansman and Democrat icon Robert Byrd ordered Hastings removed from office, acting as the Senate president pro tempore. But, the senate did not bar him from holding future office.

It was the right time for a black to run and win and any black the DNC ran would have won. Unfortunately Obama did everything he could to weaponize being black and purposely drove wedges between races to divide and conquer.
