I didn't know that the Democratic party barrel was that deep.

I thought the DNC was already scraping the bottom of the barrel back in 2008.

Now they scraped up a traitor you puffed on Marine guards peters when he was in the brig and are now running the freak for the Senate.

I don't mind her personally. I appreciate what she did to inform us of the way the US was conducting its war effort. I am not sure what qualifications she has to be a senator. Surely better than a Joe arpaio or Ted Cruz, but I would hope the democrat party has a better candidate. Plus with the resentment and prejudice against her it would not be great to flip the seat. I don't see any reason to say she could not do a decent job.

 

At least she is not a child molesting corrupt judge who cannot follow the constitution because he thinks the bible is the law of the land. She is also not a corrupt sheriff who disobeyed the laws he was supposed to enforce in order to persecute brown people in the name of justice. Sure she blew the whistle on the government and its cruelty shooting unarmed people in the war on terror, but I can forgive that considering that was rather wrong and she did serve time for doing so which cannot be said about the child rapist judge and the corrupt sheriff.

If this is scraping the bottom of the barrel it is a much shallower barrel than the republican shithole.

You have two poster boys of the Democratic party Bradley Manning aka Chelsea Manning and Bowe Bergdahl who according to the Obama White House "served with honor and distinction" while abandoning his fellow soldiers and his weapon on the battlefield.

Manning was found guilty of espionage against the United States and should have been sentence to life in the "queen tank" at Fort Leavenworth military prison.

Bergdahl should have been sentence to death by firing squad and the DNC should have been charged for the cost of the bullets.

 

Really! Who would have guessed he is running as a Democrat ... shocking I tell u.

 

That is nice and all, but the reality is what the military was doing was not a part of the protection of this country and the actions it was taking were wrong. Those things should not have been secret. I could really do without the massacre of unarmed children and townspeople because they are inconvenient. She did not sell out the US to Putin like our president and his family have. She released information about horrible military actions made in our name, and I want to know that information.

Your anger at that is great and all, but she was not the one lying to you. She also has not molested little girls because God told her it was ok. She has not undermined the US justice system by trying to make Christian biblical law the law of the land. She has not held hundreds of people prisoner without trial against the rule of American law because she does not like Mexicans. She never grabbed anyone by the ***** because that is what she thinks a man does.

About my only argument with her is she does not have a law background as far as I am aware, but considering the likes of Louis Gilbert and Michele Bachman were choices elected to congress I am pretty sure that does not disqualify her.

I will go a step further. She is a real American hero. She sacrificed her freedom and life to show us the corruption of our government. She showed us the truth and then took it on the chin for doing the right thing. She stood up against a corrupt war and secrets we were killing innocents. It is the fail of people like you that nothing was done with any of that. Some secrets should not be kept. You should thank her for thinking much more of you and your morals than you are willing to act on.

 

President Manning. It sounds a lot more presidential than Trump. And it'd mean there wasn't a moronic, cheating, sleazy, lying, racist, mentally deranged and enfeebled manchild in charge.

Almost all Reps will hate her. Most Dems will publicly applaud her (but privately hate her as well) because both major parties are chock full of useless people.

 

Along with around 7 plus billion others they don't show up anywhere in my day to day life. I get it if a person is invested in politics but I ain't. I'm only here because political forums is where the angry mob hangs out.

It's irrelevant. Many elected officials who do have a law background do not serve the interest of their constituents and many violate the Constitution 24/7. There is no such requirement for any office. Furthermore, some of the authors of the Constitution wanted a "title of nobility" Amendment as part of the Bill of Rights. In fact some historians claim the original 13th Amendment (no not the involuntary servitude Amendment) which was the Title of Nobility Amendment was properly ratified but never incorporated into the Constitution. It would have barred all lawyers (they have the title of "Esquire") from running for any office.
