Chris Sky is campaigning for the office of Mayor of Toronto. In my opinion.... he is certainly one of Canada's most courageous speakers and thinkers. If I lived in Toronto.... I am pretty sure that I would vote for him!

I have a concept for you for a reality film concept that goes on and on and on and on for years and decades in the future. You are playing the role of Chris Sky..... yourself.........

You put together at least one film production cooperative..... and / or kibbutz..... and or company or companies plural.

One option would be a Christ Sky Dollar or Hour............

possible a coin....... but I would suggest a Silver Back Note.... similar to the Goldback notes..... I suggest this because silver is necessary in laser technology...... which should lead to greater demand in the future..... so that should translate into a Silverback note..... increasing in value more rapidly even than those Goldback notes are doing?!

My plan is an EXPERIMENT in Economic Theory that is designed to bring Canada's Political right and political left together
to accomplish a goal that seems to be possible common ground all across the political spectrum of Canadians.

All Canadians would like to see Canadian women feel less economic pressure that causes many of them to feel that they cannot keep their child and they choose to have an abortion as opposed to bring their child into a Canada where they feel that their child will be at a serious disadvantage sometimes due to their understanding that if they keep their child they may well be unable to finish their education.

Five hundred dollars per Canadian per month, can this work?

I am advocating the usage of the Bank of Canada that is owned by all Canadians to finance giving five hundred dollars per month to all thirty seven million Canadians.

It will of course mean much more to poorer Canadians than to millionaires........
but it could be surprising how many stay at home wives with cheap and stingy millionaire husbands who control the purse strings of the home may find this extra five hundred very helpful indeed.

I suspect that well over eighty percent of of Canadians will spend this money reasonably well and:
1. enrol their kids in more after school programs.....
2. begin to purchase a higher percentage of organic produce vs the cheap GMO stuff
3. purchase a newer car, SUV or half ton truck
4. do renovations to their homes
5. hire landscapers to do certain projects on their properties
6. pay down their debt loads, especially the higher interest ones
7. buy a new home rather than renting
8. buy a cottage outside the city so that they can get away for weekends
9. many will choose to move to rural Canada in order to escape relatively hectic city life
10. eat at nice restaurants more often

11. I also believe that a significant percentage of Canadian women who would have chosen to have an abortion under the present economic situation will CHOOSE to keep their babies as opposed to having an abortion!

"The Bank of Canada was first established by Prime Minister Richard Bennet in 1935 as a private central bank, but was then nationalized by William Lyon Mackenzie King in 1938. By nationalizing the bank, Mackenzie King meant for it to belong to the people so the Canadian government could borrow funds with little or no interest for capital expenditures. The mandate of the newly nationalized Bank of Canada was to act as the banker to the government and to manage the public debt. As Mackenzie King famously said: “Once a nation parts with the control of their currency and credit, it matters not who makes that nation’s laws. Usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. So the Bank of Canada was nationalized in 1938 and the government could now borrow money with little or no interest. And it worked. But then Trudeau, under the influence of the international financial group called Basel’s
Committee’s Recommendations (The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) made the decision to halt the borrowing of money from the Bank of Canada, and instead, chose to borrow from the private banks who instead of lending to the government at no interest, or low interest, introduced higher interest rates along with compound interest.

All banks know very well the magic of compound interest. And Pierre Trudeau must have known that the mounting compounded national debt would lead to Canadians eventually owing a dollar fifty for every dollar of their disposable incomes. After all, he studied economics at the London School of Economics. Surely the professors there knew about compound interest.

So Pierre Trudeau, instead of feeling blessed that Canada, unlike the US, had a nationalized central bank, signed our bank away to the private banks. Couldn’t Trudeau, such an educated man, surmise that citizens in a few years would be struggling to make car payments and meet rent and mortgages and student loans and to buy healthy food while last year’s profits for the big five (that’s Royal Bank, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal and CIBC amounted to $31.7 billion?) If he did, he didn’t care. But it doesn’t have to be this way. It really doesn’t. Our Bank of

I often am but I strongly suspect that Prime Minister Pierre E. Trudeau back in 1974 made one of the most colossal errors made in the last fifty years by a sitting Prime Minister of Canada in order to make it possible to pull off something of a joke on an American population.........

... who would have noticed the difference if the brilliant Bank of Canada policy of 1938 to 1974 had been continued for another decade or two.

This surge in the national debt here in Canada was needed to pull off......

Local currencies: 'In the U.S. we don't trust'

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- It may seem like Monopoly money to outsiders, but a growing number of communities across the U.S. are using homegrown local currencies to stimulate their economies and protect themselves from the nation's broader economic woes.

While there were only about 20 active community currencies in the United States in 2009, there has been a recent resurgence, with at least a dozen communities developing their own currencies in the past couple of years, estimates Loren Gatch, a professor of political science at the University of Central Oklahoma who researches these alternative currencies. In addition, currencies that have been around for years have seen a spike in interest, with membership doubling in some cases.

"Economic instability is on peoples' minds," said Gatch.

Now, even state governments are exploring the option. Lawmakers in more than 10 states, including Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Idaho and Tennessee, have been circulating proposals to introduce alternative currencies -- many of which would be issued in the form of gold or silver coins.

The Constitution prohibits individual states from printing and issuing paper money as legal tender, but they are allowed to use coins as currency, said Gatch. Individual communities, however, are able to create their own currencies -- including paper notes. Anyone can do it -- as long as the money is easily distinguishable from U.S. dollars and values are tied to the U.S. dollar so that income remains taxable.

Fear factor: Francis Ayley, the founder of Life Dollars, a currency started in Bellingham, Wash., in 2004, said fear of a shortage of U.S. dollars and frustration with the growing wealth gap in the country are driving more people to his currency. Since a majority of the transactions occur online and funds are directly transferred between members, the supply of Life Dollars is unlimited, he said.

The number of people or businesses signed up to use the currency, or members as Ayley refers to them, had remained relatively stable at 250 to 350 for years. But in the past two years, membership has doubled to more than 700. The currency's use has expanded beyond Bellingham to Seattle, too, where 75 new members have signed on in the past six months. Ayley estimates that more than $1 million worth of transactions have been made so far.

Funny money? 11 local currencies
"Many people are short of cash because they are unemployed or under-employed ... many are questioning what they have been told about the economy and the way the free market supposedly works," said Ayley.

John Poling, a co-founder of Cascadia Hour Exchange in Portland, Ore., which started in 1993, said interest in his currency, called the "CHE," had been dwindling until the past couple years. Now, amid fears that the national economy is crumbling and the U.S. dollar is losing its buying power, old members are starting to become active again and new membership is taking off. The exchange is even expanding to surrounding communities.

While there is a fixed exchange rate for CHE's -- each CHE equals about 10 U.S. dollars -- the currency was launched to encourage individuals and businesses to exchange goods and services locally. There's also a monthly auction where members can buy and sell items for CHE.

"The economy is in trouble and people don't trust the Federal Reserve and they don't trust the government, so this is somewhere they can turn, and somewhere they can still do business if the banks close," said Poling.

Local boost: Many alternative currencies were created in an effort to keep wealth within communities and to support local businesses.

Mo Charbonneau, the administrator of "Bay Bucks," a paper currency started in Traverse City, Mich. in 2006, said the currency is the community's "own local stimulus program."

"With everything happening in the economy and the banking sector, people are paying more attention to their local communities and there's more awareness of keeping money in our community," said Charbonneau.

About 100 businesses now accept Bay Bucks and several companies have even recently started issuing the currency as part of employees' salaries.

... and I would like to explain for free to the other Mayoral candidates, how re-creating a TORONTO DOLLAR, (an alternative currency unit similar to Calgary Dollars), can theoretically be used to turn HOMELESS PEOPLE OF THE GREATER TORONTO AREA into REALITY FILM ACTORS PLAYING THE ROLE OF THEMSELVES AND......
(God willing), they can be turned into a major market for slightly damaged building supply products..... or food products...... or virtually any product that may end up being offered for these Toronto Dollars?????

"I am advocating recreating Toronto Dollars, (hopefully as a database because they do not need to be printed). Toronto Dollars could be used as a "prop" in a reality film series starring homeless people, as themselves. People who work with the homeless could form a film production cooperative and the video footage of before and after stories of lives being improved could grab the attention of an audience over time. Film companies that are privately owned could also be attracted into assisting to get the message out. Toronto Dollars can be used to purchase building materials to build cottages for the homeless perhaps fifty or more kilometers away from a highly priced real estate area such as Toronto.

Using Toronto Dollars to purchase building materials that have been somewhat damaged but are still useful could take the idea of "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" up to a whole new level. In a way Toronto Dollars could turn many homeless people into a market for what many companies think of as "shrink" that has been slightly damaged. Companies often attempt to sell off those products for seventy to ninety percent off from retail but they often end up being tossed in the garbage. This could become one part of what C.... ... .... TV accomplishes over the coming years and decades."

Toronto Dollars were in use several years ago so hopefully the same people who were involved back then will be encouraged by the idea of doing this as a DATABASE where the notes DO NOT actually need to be printed, (although that is an option that has been used successfully in the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada).

Now that the election for Mayor of Toronto is over I can put a friendly challenge in front of Mr. Chris Sky.... and
everybody in Nova Scotia.... everybody in New Brunswick.... everybody in Prince Edward and everybody living in.... or originally from Newfoundland............. and even in the State of Maine!!!!!!

I originally posted the following to a Facebook page that I had created.......

"I live about one hundred miles from an area of the world that I strongly suspect is in the position of the proverbial "canary in a coal mine" as far as the danger of rising ocean levels is concerned.

In my part of Nova Scotia, the difference between high tide and low tide will be as little as one meter but in parts of the Bay of Fundy the difference can be between 52 to 56 feet. The Bay of Fundy has a funneling effect on tidal waters.

There are 143,000 acres of productive farmland in that area that have been taken back from the ocean by dikes. I am worried that if ocean levels rose by as little as thirty centimeters that part of the Bay of Fundy could be hit by high tides that could perhaps be close to five meters higher than normal.

I am willing to go all out and make a fool of myself on a totally voluntary basis to attempt to soothe my conscience that I tried my best to do what needs to be done at this time to set in motion a series of events that could actually prevent ocean levels from rising at all?!?!

You can see one of my films that I will give you legal rights to use for one dollar if you will follow down in the comments in this note....and I will sure try to do more for you if you are willing and able to do something with this film concept.
Basically the concept for the film series that I have in mind involves a major star, such as Jim Carrey, playing the role of my grandfather, George Malloy. Johnny Galecki, (Leonard on Big Bang Theory), would be ideal to play the role of my Uncle William Malloy who was killed in Italy on January 2, 1945.

The film takes place in 1938 and 1939 and postulates an entirely different ending to the M. S. St. Louis saga that, as you can guess alters the future so that Uncle Bill not only is not killed in Italy but the holocaust is prevented from occurring.

I love the idea of 28 BILLION George Malloy/Jim Carrey Dollars being printed up, that work much like www.CalgaryDollars
.ca except that they are in a sense props in a series of films designed to inspire several companies and nations to get working on a plan to turn deserts green, combat malnutrition worldwide, stabilize the climate all at the same time that we stimulate organized barter and create some jobs in the Nova Scotia, Montreal, USA and Israeli film market!Proposal for the creation of a Quebec provincial currency unit to save coastal communities from threat of rising ocean levels."
