In today's democratic party there is no room for people like Harry Truman, Jack Kennedy, George Meany, and Scoop Jackson. I was a Democrat in those days. But those days are long gone. Today's Democratic Party has been captured by Michael Moore, Chomsky, and Congresswoman Maxine Waters.

I was kinda a kid/not born yet in Truman's tenure, but I know my history and past and present.

I don't think that Moore/Chomsky/Waters are the poster children for the Dems or Obama wouldn't have been elected. Centrist left/right the Dems still are.

The Republicans are learning the hard way, as are the way lefties that the lunatic fringe appeasers will bring nothing more than more days out in the wilderness, which I guess, Romney, Gingrich or Obama being choices...my choice is Obama by a longshot.

Obama promised to unite the country. Has he? If not, then why did he promise to do something he probably knew he couldn't do?

Why is the economy sputtering along without discernible improvement? Why is American power eroding every where on earth?

No, for reasons I have covered in my letters. Their positions and policies are based on blatant falsehoods, even according to the sources they claim to follow. Finding out just how dishonest they are takes some work, but the more you check on them, the worse they look.

Their supporters aren't much better.

 

I know that most Republicans are honest, being that the extremist fringe lunatic ODSers present on these forums are not representative of most Republicans.

A common factor in all those people is that they were all well to the left of the current Democratic party. So I guess he's right in that respect -- the current Democrats would reject JFK as a dirty leftist.

 

Define Republicans. If you mean politicians, then no, they aren't honest (but then few politicians of any political stripe truly are). If you mean republican people, yes, most of them are honest (as are most democrats and libertarians and most people of any other political party).

 

They're about as honest as any other group of people.

I can only say this.

If you had a huge group of people, who really loved their country and stood in the millions for that country, so much so...that they enter the cesspool of Washington to fight the corrupt lying mutts, and, if they had some of leader who stood with them, full of integrity and honesty and governor level political experience....they and that leader would be crucified beyond recognition by the lying mutts and their purchased media.

And all the liars, on both sides of the aisle...would be able to keep on doing what they do in Washington.

I've been trying to clue people in to the works of Sutton for several years now. I don't know of any other person's work that more directly highlights how the whole system presented to us is an illusion controlled from behind the scenes, how it's controlled, and largely to what end.
