Not enough. It takes years of training and experience to make a competent doctor or nurse and the burn out rate in that process is huge. And the stress involved us tremendous. A hospital is a very high stress environment. If you work there every one coming to see you is having the worst day of their lives, and that doesn't make them happy and most are more than willing to share their anguish.
We'd have nothing but $999M aires in the US before you could get the bill signed. The rest would be in Switzerland. They didn't get rich by letting folks take their money.
He's saying net worth. We're talking every thing from van Goghs to sports cars here as well as houses. The question becomes what can you sell them for if no one is buying. A penny on the dollar? Ten cents? Socialists don't destroy capitalism, people always find some way to trade among themselves, what they do destroy is wealth and aspirations. Rush nailed it years ago when he referred to socialism as misery shared equally.
We have already seen the Republican logic. Trump did massive tax cuts for the rich and then his minions advocated cutting Medicare, Medicaid. Food stamps, and Social Security. To pay for the tax cuts.
Nope that would have been back in the early days. Before he needed the ear implants. By the way the only happy Democrat I ever saw was Hubert Humphrey. The rest of em only seem to be happy when they are lying about and slandering Republicans.
The guy that likely never gave one dollar or one minute of his time or one calorie of expended energy helping anyone else, is demanding other people's stuff. Funny that way
It is all predicated on "fairness". People instinctively favor fairness. That is why communists use it to sway people into giving them power. Commies promise fairness but deliver misery. That is not me talking, that is history.
It would take decades of work by thousands of people with PhD in Social Sciences to design a perfect system. This is the amount of work which went into designing Welfare System in Canada and Scandinavia.
It has been said that those who can't do, teach. In the academic world those who can't teach become sociology majors
In fact back in the day, I ran into a guy who had a tested IQ of 90 was carrying a 3.5 in a sociology major.
Funny how the ones who don't contribute their own labor, time or resources to a "system", always know what the best system for everyone is
