    i've always said that the red & blue parties actually work together, what we get to 'see' is all show for the masses.

    I am not an expert. It would take decades of work by thousands of people with PhD in Social Sciences to design a perfect system.

    Sorry as long as the basic working parts of an economic system are human beings it will never be perfect, in fact, it cannot be perfect because human beings are not perfect no matter how many degrees they have.

    Maybe, but some things can be made so near perfect you're hard-pressed to say they're not. The main way this can be done is through computers, which can think so much faster and better than people.

    It sounds like a great idea, but, the math has already been done. If all of the billionaire's wealth in America was taken and split among ALL Americans, they would each get $1.65

    That isn't socialism. It is government social spending under a capitalist system. Were it not for the capitalist system, the government wouldn't be able to do that.

    Definitely. As robots and machines play ever increasing role in production, perfection becomes ever more possible. Already, in USA, material living standard is about 100 times the subsistence level.

    What is important is provision of Positive Rights -- food, shelter, and Medical Care for everyone in Canada and Scandinavia.

    Food yes shelter medical care not so much. Remember through out most of human history medical care was as likely to kill you as not.

    It can't. Health care is always rationed the only question is how that rationing will occur. There simply aren't ever going to be enough medical people to go around.

    no it cannot there aren't enough doctors and nurses to go around to say nothing of technicians. You can insist that it must be so all day long but that doesn't change the math not enough is always going to be not enough.
