Step #1: Create nonsense claim
Step #2: Get right-wing newspaper or website to write story with catchy headline
Step #3: Gullible people spread the "news" within their circle of friends and right-wing outlets force feed the nonsense to other gullible people
Step #4: The "news" is proven to be nonsense and nothing comes of it (i.e. no indictments, no arrests, no jury verdicts, etc.)
Step #5: Gullible people forget about the nonsense story
Step #6: The process starts at Step #1 again

 

None of which will be spent on lawsuits relating to election fraud. Did you read the fine print before you donated?

 

NYT didn’t say that. They said: “there were no irregularities that affected the outcome.” There’s a significant difference.

Nobody is saying there are NO irregularities. There are. In every election. They are saying the numbers aren’t enough to affect the outcome.

 

Wrong question. The real question is, “what does the country have to lose?”

And the answer is: trust in the election system. Trust in the legitimacy of the government.

Those are pretty big compared with the minuscule-to-the-point-of-approaching-impossible chance of trump flipping even one result, let alone enough to change the outcome. He is being irresponsible. But that is nothing new.

I was kidding, of course, because Trump doesn't actually believe that. He's raising money for his campaign debt and his new Super Pac. People are donating money, without realizing that unless they donate more than $5,000, it all goes to campaign debt & his new project. Some of the money donated over $5,000 goes to the lawsuit fund.

As for fraud - Dems were claiming russian collusion for 4 years. They couldn’t let go for so long that they literally talked selves into believing that a very tiny minority supports Trump, which means they literally have no leg to stand on smearing Trump for delays with conceding the election. The D party never really conceded since 2016.

 

Except in every way that matters, they did. Hillary said he won and to support him. Obama had him to the WH, they let his transition start working and they started his intel briefings.
