    Biden; 77,151,976

    Trump; 72,038,971

One indisputable fact; a majority of voters do not want Trump as President.

Which states did he win where he is demanding recounts?

However, Trump lost, and he will remain a loser.

So Trump goes the way of Carter.

Do you think Trump will supersede Carter as the best ex-president ever? Look at how much good a one-term president can do for people, with his life, post failed presidency!

Trump won’t be viewed favorably for a long time. His personality is his worst enemy.
Also, considering the fact that progressives control most of our mass media, I’m pretty sure Trump will be the worst president on record till next Republican is elected. Don’t forget, W got an upgrade in 2016. ;)

I don't think you understand that Trump is a despicable person. I'll repeat it one more time.

    From another post:

Trump is flooding the courts with frivolous suits. It's obvious that it's not democracy he cares about, what he cares about is employing any scheme he and his henchmen can conjure up to thwart the will of the people. 13 of his lawsuits thus far have been thrown out of court. He's suing for arcane things like 'overseer not close enough', I mean, no president in history was so accusatory of the integrity of his opposition that he'd sue to get an overseer closer? Give me a ****ing break, noting that the only reason they were 10 feet in the first place was because of Covid, okay, so the judge says, cool, make it 6 feet. Wonderful!

What we are witnessing, for the first time in history, is a president attempting to undermine the electoral process by trumping up anomalies as 'dems are cheating' in order to fog the landscape with heaps of frivolous lawsuits ( anomalies which all elections have ) in a hail mary scheme to delay certifications such that he hopes the vote will be tossed to the house where he has the advantage. It won't work.

Why is he doing this? I'll tell you. No, it's not because of noble vision of doing the will of the people, he doesn't give a **** about those people, what Trump is afraid of is SDNY, they are currently investigating the him for financial crimes, and, I assure you, he has committed them. His kids have been hauled into court, and they are pleading the 5th. Once out of office, he will have to face being prosecuted. Don't give me any crap about "Biden shouldn't be doing this", no, SDNY were investigating Trump long before we even knew that Biden was the nominee.

Let me explain something to you, a man who squelched the health care of his grand-nephew ( who has cerebral palsy) out of vengeance to spite his deceased brother's estate who are suing him because he cheated them out of their share of the familiy inheritance, isn't the kind of man who gives one rat's ass about democracy.

In public forums, Trump and his associates, are levying charges against Biden and democrats without one shred of credible evidence, evidence beyond an innocent anomaly here and there, the kind of stuff that happens in all elections. None of this crap proves what he is alleging. This is unprecedented and highly irresponsible. No president in history has operated this way. If he needs clarification on process, instead of making wild and baseless accusation to the public in a glaringly obvious ploy to galvanize his large following to make a lot of noise against democrats in an effort to undermine democracy, he should do it quietly in the background. That's what an honorable president would do, but 'honorable' and Trump are polar opposites.

But republicans are so ****ing blind they can't see it, and many don't give a damn.

    And that's sad.

Does personality have nothing to do with the person possessing the 'ality? It literally means the person's character. LOL.

Reagan was a decent man. George HW Bush was an excellent person of the highest caliber. Bush, Jr. was a flawed individual who had good intentions.

Trump is none of those things. He's literally, deplorable.

Trump is in his own category of despicable. It's not spin, it's the facts surrounding who he is.

The right controls a lot of media, they control Three cable stations, and all of talk radio, and a number of news journals, an entire TV news syndicate (Sinclair news network) and all all of the following, and it's a long list
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternative_media_(U.S._political_right)

So, I don't know what you are talking about.

Bush was judged for getting the US into Iraq. He hasn't gotten and upgrade, he and the scourge of Iraq will never be separated.

But, as a human being, he is a likeable human being, so was Reagan, HW Bush ,Clinton, Ford, Carter, all of them.

Trump is the only one, in my view, that is truly a despicable human being.
He's the only president in history denying the president elect access to the WH and allowing his transition team to set up shop.

He might have horrible personality, but he was standing up for things many feel were neglected for too long.
I, personally, would not want to be Trump’s friend, and I don’t know anyone who voted for him who said they believed Trump would be a cool guy to hang out with. I’m not his wife, so his sex life isn’t of my concern. But I did like the fact that Trump pressured NATO and China, gave Ukraine weapons, made some historic leaps in ME, and didn’t involve us into any wars. That was a great achievement for a president facing so much hostility from the main stream. In international politics, Trump sucked only in his treatment of Russia. His restraint with Pootin will be the only thing I’ll be wondering about in the future. His only real flaw was in the fact that he doesn’t know when to shut up and let professionals handle wording of the subject he wants to discuss, and judging from Republican success against all the odds, that was the ultimate cause of his loss.

That's only because of mail in voting, but the bulk of it is in, and it won't change the outcome,
As for irregularities, all elections have them.
Calm down? Gore did not behave like Trump.

I don't care about the recounts, etc, I don't think you grasp the fact that there is no path for Trump, the numbers are not there.

Millions more voted for Hillary than Trump, but she didn't dis Trump after he won the electoral college. She sure could have, after the way he treated her, threatening to put her in jail. No president in history would say something like that.

I don't think you grasp the fact of who Trump is. Really, it's astonishing the right are so ignorant of who Trump is, how he acts, it's utterly way below what we would expect from the commander in chief.

"The press are the enemy of the people"
"The only way democrats can win is if they rigged the vote".

and on and on and on, unprecedented behavior for a president.

There is NO path for the president. He will not overturn the election.

Listen to Karl Rove, if anyone would know, he would

    Exactly.

I guess Trump (and his supporters) will NEVER accept the Biden Victory.

Expect 4 Years of rampant conspiracies outing Biden as a member of the Bavarian Illuminati.

When everybody knows that Joe's real allegiance is to the Knights of Templar.

Yeah, right. no evidence. All that word surgery and no evidence,
Wonderful. No journal is any different, jeez, if the issues he's nitpicking
on NYT bother, then let's see him go over an article by Brietbart, with a find tooth comb, eh? Seems this guy is just as biased as the media he criticizes

I can criticize him, too. He was nitpicking on 'major issues" instead of issue

He failed to mention that ALL elections have issues, and the only salient fact
beyond the fact that all elections have issues,is whether or not they are MAJOR, which means large enough to affect the outcome of an election. That is probably
why NYT used 'major issues' instead of 'issues. But, he doesn't mention that, does he. See, HE is being as misleading as NYT he claims is misleading.

Then he makes a big deal out of 1/2 percent. That half percent is what 15,000 well no recount ever recovered more than a thousand, so good luck.
And then he used orchestral cue music to highlight a point! That's' manipulative! Plus, he's talking at a mile a minute, giving a false sense of urgency, another manipulative trick.

What this guy is doing is exactly what Trump is doing, is hyping minor irregularities that are common to all elections, and making you think it's something that is going to change the outcome of the election. He's feeding on your suspicions, telling you what you want to hear. That is what Trump does.

Well, good luck. I got bad news for you, it ain't' going to happen.

All media is manipulative. To get the most out of mainstream media, Noam Chomsky, has a video on it on how to read the media.

thing is, the right wing media is far worse,. with one exception, WSJ. I put them in the same category
as WaPo and NYt, but right of center.
    Now then

Dude, I’m not saying Trump will win. I’m talking about the realities of Trump having a statistical possibility of flipping those states, and the odds aren’t as long as many think. I don’t think Trump will pull this off, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.
So, save your emotional speeches about Trump being a horrible human being, that’s not what I’m discussing here.

Flipping one state with a margin of 500 votes is a statistical possibility. Flipping several states and tens of thousands of votes is a statistical impossibility.

Why aren't we recounting votes in Texas and Florida? Maybe Biden actually won those 67 EV.

Read our discussion. I cited an example when canvassing flipped election to WI Supreme Court by 7,000 votes.
Biden leads in WI and AZ by less than 21,000 votes in each state. So, yes, flipping a few districts by 7,000 votes in these states is not an impossibility.

Well, call Biden and ask him why he isn’t challenging the results.

Expecting a one-off anomaly to reproduce itself three times at once is beyond the believable. Statistical impossibility.

Biden isn't contesting the results because there is no evidence of fraud, error or any other anomaly that would effect the outcome. Sadly, Trump doesn't possess this innate adult quality.

What does that mean? "Bejing-bought," &, "Bezos-owned," are incompatible claims unless 1) The Washington Post was a gift from China to Jeff Bezos, or 2) you are saying that China formerly owned the newspaper, which would be irrelevant, but I'm all but certain that is false, anyway. As would be the suggestion that one of the world's richest men, Jeff Beezos, didn't buy WAPO with his own money. I know we're supposed to keep our comments strictly on the arguments, but every time I see one of yours, it seems to be this kind of utter nonsense. The Washington Post is probably America's premier newspaper &, in my mind, historically speaking, towers far above the New York Times (which is why the intelligent Edward Snowden was smart enough to avoid the NYT, & contacted WaPo, instead). Is it past time for your medication, perhaps?

Get used to it. We have four years of "Beijing this, Beijing that" to look forward to. It doesn't have to make sense. Kinda like the socialists are gonna take away my medicare. Gotta love the inanity. Gotta ignore it.
