You mean a true constitutional crisis caused by Democrats?

As I've already said, no I don't want to see that. Though this "will of the people" language is quite misleading. Millions more people voted for HC. The "will of the people" you are talking about is more convoluted than that. Moreover, I'm perplexed by the Trump supporters who praise the EC in one breath but threaten revolt if the EC doesn't work the way they want it to.

So it is working as constitutionally intended, but it is a constitutional crisis if it doesn't produce the results that you want? Curious.

    Nationally.
As you know, that does matter, because all elections are held at the state level.
The will of the people gave Trump 306 electors.

I explained this to you, a few moments ago. Do you need me to expand the explanation?

The electoral college was set up by wealthy, elitist, white men who did not grant women, blacks, Indians or poor whites a voice in the Constitutional convention in 1787. And by the way, Trump had been running to the left of Hillary Clinton on a whole host of issues so all this talk bad mouthing the left is purely hypocritical on the part of Trump voters because Trump is a leftist on a lot of bread and butter issues.

I suppose you could test out your fragile hope by mounting an armed rebellion and see what happens. Report back. Don't hang around, though, when Trump Inc gets its little hand on the apparatus of power there's no telling what might be in store for the rebellious. Maybe being proscribed as terrorists like the UK is considering doing to their far right fringes. That's the kind of thing authoritarians get out of bed for.

Even if true, it means nothing.
Don't like the EC? Amend the Constitution.

LOL, so the people that claim Trump's a dictator, and they hate and despise dictators, now want to be dictators because things didn't turn out the way they wanted them to. Too funny. Keep up the good work and seal the deal for Republicans in 2018 and 2020... America laughs at you.

I usually disdain "what if" questions but despite the assurances of public online lawyers and constitutional experts, it is conceivable that the Hillary forces, could legally pull off this 11th hour snatch of the presidency. What if they succeed?

And if the EC did somehow vote against Trump, the Trumpeters would be the "crybabies" "having fits."

The electors haven't voted yet. He doesn't have 306 electors until those electors vote. Again, you are working under the assumption that winner take all, which some states mandate and others don't.

You said it was up to each state to decide the rules that govern how the electors vote, but then you only accept winner-take-all as the only legitimate choice for each state.

Reality check - Nobody cares about California. They don't even wanna be a part of the U.S. anymore. Not that it matters anyways, because it's a sure fire bet that 3 million of their voters were illegal.

No. Yet another stupid lie. Some people need to grow up and grow a pair. Many precincts show overvotes BECAUSE of same day registration/absentee registration. This old red herring has already been eaten, thank you.

    - - - Updated - - -

That is irrelevant. FACT is that Clinton is closing in on +3 million in the NPV. Where the votes come from makes no difference at all if you are using this metric, for the principle of one-vote per eligible and registered person is not relegated to geography. Better luck to you next time.

LMFAO!!! Talk about living in denial.

Wait. . . Does this mean we have to deal with all the crying and moaning and put the entire left wing on suicide watch again when Trump wins the official, official election, or will there be another official election?

Well, Lord knows NO ONE ON THE RIGHT ever tried to delegitimize Bill Clinton's or Barack Obama's presidency, nosiree.... LOL

    - - - Updated - - -

Exactly to whom are you referring? Who exactly are these "snowflakes"? Of course, you can also just behave in a cowardly way and not answer the question. I could understand your apprehension.

Before they were actually in office? Nope, nobody did, you are absolutely correct. That might be historical moment that should be preserved, where's that print screen button???

Right. Electoral college members are expected to vote as their state voted and I note you didn't complain about the progressive con man and charlatan that's been president for the last eight years.

I suppose it was all your belly aching over the Electoral College and the "will of almost three million voters".
Does that clear things up for you?

Well we already had an election to settle the matter so.......yeah, you get the point.

The ones who are breaking stuff and threatening people and talking about rebellion, similar to the way that Trumpeters reported they would behave upon losing, sure. Of course they are.

Evidence to support that utterly ridiculous and fact-free statement of yours?

    - - - Updated - - -

That is, of course, a lie. The Right was already saying things to try to delegitimize Obama before he took the oath of office. Thanks for reminding me of this. That was very nice of you.

Actually, Trump won the popular vote. He won it in Florida, Ohio, Michigan, etc.
Hillary is leading the nationwide aggregate vote, but the Constitution dictates the use of the Electoral College.

Might as well claim Hillary's voters were more "concerned" or "better educated" which has as little to do with winning the Presidency as the now famous, mis-understood and irrelevant "popular vote".
