Florida fines businesses for demanding medical information from customers

1. I would support their right to do so, but not agree with them doing so, as such I do not think it is accurate to say I am "fine" with it. Unlike many people, I do not need to agree with an action to support the right of someone to do it.

Well I don't have to be at a deli by law 180 days out of the year for 7 hours a day with thousands of other kids.

So the deli doesn't have any business knowing about my vaccination records.

If that doesn't make sense you try using your brain for more than just keeping your ears from slamming together.

 

Exactly, that is what makes the school forcing it even worse, by law you have no choice but to give it to them since you have to attend.

Thank god there are dozens of other delis that would love your money and that the government is not forcing you to go to that one deli asking for your information.

I have never gone into a business topless and with no shoes either. Again, nobody is forcing anyone to show anything. If you choose not to show vaccine proof, you are free to go elsewhere.

I don't think the purpose was to keep the law around long it was to set a standard for Floridians to expect businesses not to ask this. Forcing them to capitulate through customer abandonment.

Setting the expectation is all that matters.

The only difference between a private school and a deli is the product they provide. Both exist to make money, that is their only reason to exist. They differ on how the money is made, but nothing else.

 

If that's the only difference in your mind we are finished here. I can't ever expect to eat anything to someone that disconnected from reality.
