Doesn't the Bible warm against changing its words/meaning?

Thanks for the context. So Libhater what you should take away from this is that it's ok for people of different groups to have children but you should stop breeding with animals.

Where the hell do you get that from?

It speaks of distinguishing between what is holy and what is not. And following the commandments.

which is not nearly as bad as all the NeoCons out there who give us Conservatives a really bad name.

You are taking old testament Jewish scriptures out of context and exposing them as something they are not, and then using Ad hominem against any who disagree with what you think. That is a pretty cut and dry example at bigotry in its finest. You even have the gall to tell the Jewish poster that you know his scriptures better than he does. What a fool's thread this is.

The sad part of this is that there are actually people who believe this.

Thats not even the funnny part man.

The real funny part is where he uses Jewish scripture, and then calls Hebrew "jibberish"! lol

I wonder if he is also as stupid to think that the bible was sent from heven to earth in the form of King James version! lol

    Where? What?

CHristians do not follow Torah because they believe in that jesus fellow. Muslims have their own (*)(*)(*)(*), and Jews still follow Torah.

The fact that the OP comesw off as if he is a Christian is a bit weird, considering Jesus and all was a hippy and loved everybody. And the bit where most christians says Mosaic law is not binding anymore.

So even if in context the verses ment what the OP implied, he wouldnt even believe in it if he was a christian.

To you and the other yahoos who say I'm taking those biblical verses out of context--could you please tell us in what context do you suppose those words were written? And if by chance you just happen to find an answer to your out-of-context scenario, could you then tell us what groups of people you believe were being written about from those particular verses? Use your imagination if all else fails. Take your time, and please go back to my original link so as to educate yourself on the biblical verses for this thread.

Folks are intermarrying at rates that were thought unheard of.

Regardless of what bible says what, even in the bible there was intermarriages of all kinds.

Read your bible.....just for one example, Shulamith was married to an Egyptian and her son was stoned for something or other.

The point is, there always was and always will be intermarriage and when people become homogenized, that's probably when there will be peace. Over the ages, in Europe, the peace was kept by intermarriage. Austrian Princess marries British Prince or whatever.

They intermarried so much that hemophilia was was a product of all this inbreeding. All the descendents of the royals are now purposefully trying to marry outside of another royal line, so that their offspring don't turn out with a zillion genetic syndromes.

Egyptians who married mothers, brothers, daughters and sons and all kinds of consanguinous relationships became so inbred and that is what helped to destroy their empire.

There is a reason for refraining from incestous relationships.

His qoutes have nothing to even do with relationships lol, but with the special bond between Israel and HaShem. The guy is a looney.

INtermarriages were fine, aslong as the person converted, right? Such as in the case of Ruth.

    Lol, what an idiotic post.

So from the perspective of the Old Testament that holds that God's "chosen people" are the Israelites, a people of northern Africa (West Semitic), and dark-skinned.

So if we're going by biblical reference, anyone want to take a guess who would be the "mongrels" that Libhater is referring to?

You've just listed a few reasons why God didn't want the various groups of people to mix. Just because all men and women are sinners, doesn't mean that we have to accelerate our travels toward hell any quicker by engaging in mortal sin. So the biblical verses are still proving me to be right on the money with this segregation thingy. Looks like you people forgot about or hadn't seen my "What's wrong with separation or segregation" post--the one that was taken off the boards for having the maximum hits allowed. I am now contemplating starting up a 'separation/segregation post #2 for your benefit.

Regardless of what anyone says, or the bible for that matter, science shows that consanguinous relationships produces children, somewhere down the road, with a higher chance of having genetic problems. No one wishes for their children to have a genetic syndrome.

Who said anything about favoring incestuous relationships? Surely the people of those times were smart enough to marry with people outside of their immediate family but still within the entire faction of their people.

I believe Ezra has already demonstrated it. You know the posts that you are ignoring because you have no rebuttal against them, you know the posts that show every thinking individual who reads this thread the evidence that you are either trying unsuccessfully to troll, or have no idea what you are talking about.

BTW: Are you Jewish? Because your ideas are far from Christian, yet you reference "the bible". the Old Testament bible though, If you are Jewish I apologize about saying you think you know the Jewish scriptures better than the Jews. If you are Jewish I think you would have more validity, but if you are not Jewish, then WTF are you talking about?
