    I already said it.

You ragged on a forum in this group and you got an appropriate response.

    Ain't that right?

Now, go put your "safety (diaper) pin" on your lapel and think about what you did.

Looks like you were wrong about that rat's ass. Maybe you don't know as much about the asses of rats as you think.

Yes seriously, I don't see any tank columns rolling into Ukraine, where are they?

As you don't know squat when you made the assessment about this forum as you did in post #2 of this thread.

Doesn't that make you feel just a little bit stupid?

I think it's like hella cool we're in here trying to change each others minds in a thread about changing your mind on PF ;)

First off bro, I "feel" ya. I like, have a "heart" in stuff too. Why not have a "minimum" wage, right? A wage I can live off of and "adapt" too. It's like I'd never need another job other then Taco Bell (I love Taco Bell btw). I can learn to live off what I make there because the "government" mandates I can. Why inspire to better myself? It's like a form of assimilation to me. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Fair enough. ;) Here's my answer:

People tend to overreact to perceived misfortunes in their lives, no matter how absurdly trivial. Such resentment yields guilt, which yields the desire for a feeling of justification, which, when satisfied, only sets them up for more fool's misfortune, so it's a vicious cycle. One way to achieve that feeling of justification, obviously, is to win, at least in one's own mind, such arguments we see here; and the more of those vicious cycles one experiences, the greater the emotional investment, so that eventually it seems impossible to write off. I think some people even take correct positions and unconsciously argue them so obnoxiously as to ensure they're never without someone they can look down their noses at - which might explain why it's so common for people to encourage their adversaries to keep on being stupid.

Perhaps you should move to Ukraine. You can tell everyone that Putin is not to be feared. But be careful. Don't fly there.

Or maybe you can move to Moscow and try out your American free speech. Free speech that Russians briefly had a taste of until Putin cracked down on it.

Maybe you should vacation in Allepo. I'm sure those Russian bombs will not fall on an American.

I just remembered that we've talked about this a couple of times before. You keep bringing it up. You like strongman, murderers, killers of innocent civilians. I'm not going to attempt to talk you out of your love for Putin. So bringing up the subject with me again will get you no response.

To begin with (and as you've challenged JB on Ukraine I'll leave that subject in case he wants to resume with you), you obviously disapprove of Russia's Aleppo campaign. Reminding you that the disparate jihadi groups were taking cover in hospitals and schools, and among the general civilian population, what alternate action could Russia have taken to the one which was taken? As I see it, the lives of the civilians would have been far worse under the jihadists than suffering from the bombing, so I believe that no alternative was available other than for Russia to cease all military activity; but this would effectively have given the terrorists opportunities to connect and unite with other groups, plus recruit from the captive Syrian men, with decapitation for any who refused. In other words by leaving the terrorists alone would have risked allowing them to pursue their ambition of having Syria for their Caliphate power base. This timidity would be the equivalent of having an enemy but not putting up a fight, which I think you'll agree can only ensure that the enemy will prevail. In short then, tragic though it was for the civilians, can you think of what else the Russians could have done in the circumstances? I sure can't.

Brady Bunch was based on underage eye candy, (Marcia, Marcia, Marcia) and Happy Days was a lens on the 50's as seen from the 80's. The main thing to remember about Leave It to Beaver is that Eddie Haskell was actually Beaver's real father.

Although one can see the polarization of the two parties beginning in the late 60's, perhaps it was Hastert replacing Gingrich as Speaker and this impeachment process that drove the nail into the polarization we know of today in Washington. The whole impeachment process was stupid. The fact is unless a majority of the American People want it, it won't happened and perhaps only a third in fact did if not lower. A lot of America just viewed it as Republicans trying to undo an election result.

Yes, I have changed my mind on a couple of things as a result of doing some research while in a debate.

LOL! I didn't have to walk through snow but I was constantly worried about getting killed by a gang. :) I lived right in between the bloods, the crips, and the original MS13.

Those shows reflected the way we wanted it to be... according to the networks. But the lack of communication did make it seem more innocent. The internet has blown the lid off the old repressed sexual standards. It has been fascinating to watch society come out of the closet. We were definitely repressed. As a kid, I spent a lot of time praying for forgiveness for masturbating. :D [yes I spent plenty of evenings with Marcia Brady... and Laurie Partridge.,.. and Olivia Newton John]

PS. According to Barry Williams [Greg], he and Marcia were having fun off set. :) And Greg actually took out the mother [Florence Henderson] on a date.

I would have totally voted for Gary Johnson had I thought he had a chance in hell of winning! This election was about SCOTUS nominees and my 2nd amendment right above all. Maybe next time, buddy Gary.

The leaked DNC emails and Hillary and gang should have been enough to turn people off to voting dem for at least 10 years. However, I see that dummies still abound.

What, you think I am making up stories about masturbating as a teenager? LOL! Get a life.

We were all doing Marcia... until the one season when Jan suddenly got very hot!
