It is an eye-popper to realize (seriously) that 80% of the $867 billion reconciled farm bill we just passed is for the government handout welfare SNAP Program (FOOD STAMPS)!

So, using nothing more than 4th-grade arithmetic, we see that we're now committed to blowing $693 BILLION DOLLARS on 'FOOD STAMPS' -- but, Democrats totally obstruct the spending of less than $6 BILLION DOLLARS on border security. Let that sink in for a minute and see if it doesn't make you want to PUKE in less than three minutes....

Israel's experience building a barrier is a complete opposite.

The San Diego wall and Yuma wall works.

The Minuteman Project and Civil Defense Corp also worked where ever these American Minutemen were deployed.

I'm sure there are a few former Minutemen on this forum who could chime in.

Hope you are as comfortable when the federal government can no longer make its interest payments. Things are likely to change then.

What's that have to do with the topic at hand, and Hillary's lie?

Which was made in the context of Hillary's claim that Americans cannot afford the government shutdown.
Thus, your response is not a response.

I'm glad I'm not a slave to government, too...

I posted earlier that affording the shutdown is not the problem. Affording the government is.

The fact our government has non-essential personnel illustrates this quite well.

And as we know SNAP does 100 percent end hunger or poverty...so we should scrap it...according to the Dems logic on the wall

I believe 70-90% of what the federal government does is beyond its appropriate role. Even "essential" personnel are a problem.

Those numbers are over a 10 year period for SNAP. Thought I should point that out so people aren't I'll informed.

    $6.93B/yr versus $5.7B. Got it.

Yes, of course, we'll piss away more money on food stamps alone in ONE YEAR than the entire appropriation President Trump is asking for in border security.

And even if he were asking for an identical amount in each and every one of the years in that same ten-year period, it would still be less money than we're going to blow on food stamps!

Venezuela, we are surely on our way to joining you in socialistic FAILURE....

He's asking for $5.7 Billion as a downpayment on a project with no plan. The rest of the bill can be another $50 - 70 Billion. And never prove even 10% effective.

He asked for less than $6 Billion to 'kick-start' a "Wall" (which I have never been in favor of), and, border security (which we desperately NEED).

Rest easy. The "Wall", spanning 1,550 miles, will never be built. And, we'll see wave after wave of 'caravan' after 'caravan' of illegal aliens pour into our country like sh*t gushing uncontrolled from an open sewer pipe. I hope radical Democrats are proud of what they are accomplishing....

I predict that when today's oblivious, stupid Millennials and Gen "Z" morons look around in about ten years and find themselves in intense competition with millions of 'migrants' for all the subsidies and welfare handouts, as well as for a shrinking number of 'crap-jobs' that not even robots will wasted on, they may at last wake up and realize what they allowed to happen in this country. But it will be too late....

I thought her best one is when she said "I told you he was Putin's puppet."

Putins pro America agenda seems to be working out well.

Why was Hillary so opposed to it?

Seems more like Trump's pro Russian agenda to me.
Did I hear something about the Senate voting to not allow Trump to lift sanctions on Russia?

I wonder if Putin kept his notes from Trump's meeting secret.
    Hmmm. More power.
