Anytime people think something is true, but it's not, is a disconnect from reality.....religiously disconnecting from reality (unless it's an obvious fantasy - such as pretending to be Luke Skywalker when you were a kid, etc.) is as dangerous as alcohol/drugs or mental illness - the other main ways people disconnect from reality. Teaching people that 300 million people as so bad, SO EVIL, that the ultimate judge deems them fit only for eternal torture (in the case of GAYS), is a very dangerous disconnect from reality, I'm afraid.

Jews themselves often say they are NOT a religion, but a distinct people (ie; a race). And I think they are correct, I think they are a race, distinct v much, from non Jews.
