I believe most gun owners would say an accidental shooting won't happen to them right before they shoot their foot off. Or their kid kills him/herself.

Therefore it is inevitable that you will get killed in a car wreck, because the odds are a lot greater that will happen. You better stop driving right now.

One thing I notice is never addressed by gun grabbers is why we have a second amendment in the first place.

You guys need to address that, or you will be ignored. Just a bunch of people who don't understand the constitution. I might as well argue with two year olds over why they have to eat vegetables instead of a steady diet of twinkies.

Straight from your link, 37% more fatalities per million in the US compared to Eu Total in your biased selective years. Nice own goal there :)

If by "day to day activities" you mean something that puts lives in danger then yes, society has the right to put restrictions on those activities. It's called prioritizing public safety.

And how did you acquire the right to control your neighbor's day-to-day activities?

And how did you acquire the right to establish a legislative process with which you can control your neighbor's day-to-day activities?

Instead of doing this tap dance is there a question you want to ask?

I did ask it: How did you acquire the right to establish a legislative process with which you can control your neighbor's day-to-day activities?

Don't be silly. Are you allowed to set a bonfire in your front yard while running naked around it screaming in to a bullhorn? Are you allowed to drive 100mph down a residential street? No, you aren't. Society imposes rules on behavior. That's just how it is.

    Why not?
I would guess it depends on whose property I was driving on. They would probably make the rules for how I drive on their property.

It seems you are failing to recognize the streets belong to the public, unless it's a private road or driveway. So we get to decide whether you get a ticket or go to jail for speeding. Should I assume you are a libertarian?

The streets belong to the state. And these people acquired the right to control their neighbor's day-to-day activities how exactly?

The streets belong to the people who populate a state.

No, the streets belong to the state. Try, as one of the people, doing some road work. The state will smash you.

This has devolved in to a silly argument. Society has the right to regulate the possession, sale, and use of firearms............full stop.

    Have a good day.
