I must confess I have no idea.
I wasn't aware that there are two million gay men in Uganda, let alone that they are being persecuted.

I do have some friends who are Christians, but I doubt if any of them could point out Uganda on a map.
I'm pretty sure that most American Christians are not exactly directly networking with the ones in Uganda who seem to have it out for gay men.

On a positive note.... any film devoid of conflict.... is boring...... so if a Utah State Dollar or perhaps HOUR is printed up....... and linked to documentary, reality and semi-reality Science Fiction film projects..... that address real problems that are now occurring in the USA and around the world........ the American film industry could become the driving force behind a major recovery in the USA economy...... which would sure be a good thing for us Canadians.... because when the USA economy is down........ most of us living in eastern Canada pretty much have to leave home to find jobs 3000 miles or so away in Alberta!

 

Honestly..... I think that truth is kind of complicated.......... unless all truly major relevant factors in a given situation are weighed..... it is so difficult to come up with a wise solution to problems........ I wrote up what I felt were ten major problems that I felt that the majority of people in the USA and Canada would be able to cooperate on with the Jewish people.

Surely..... anything related to our living to be a hundred..... and still being healthy....... are subjects that the political left and political right can come to something of an agreement on??!!

Paying per hour is ridiculous. One hour for ticket teller work vs one hour of brain surgery. Sign me up to work at the movies in your new Utah.

 

One hour of minimum wage for an unskilled worker would immediately become about 1.5 hours if you were skilled or experienced...… if you were highly qualified and in great demand...… you might well be offered ten hours/hour for your time!!!

If you wanted to hire Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to be part of a documentary that would promote your plan... you might offer them one thousand hours/hour...… perhaps to be donated to whatever charity they would choose????!!

The government will not allow it to become widespread. Bitcoin is about as far as you will go. A local currency only from one state is super useless in a modern economy.

Up here in Canada......… if you earn one thousand Calgary Dollars..... you pay exactly the same rate of income tax..... as if you had earned one thousand Canadian dollars....... You have to be careful to keep your participation in a barter company to only about twenty or thirty percent of your time....... or you could end up owing more income tax....than you actually earned.......... but......… there is tremendous potential for local currencies to play a huge role in a full scale economic recovery!
