Frankly, I've never found Romney a credible candidate.

Perhaps he was trying too hard to fit in!!!!!

Perhaps what is needed is for somebody to explain how our history is pretty messed up and we must correct some serious errors in the way that we do business?!

Willard Mitt Romney would, undoubtedly, like to avoid yet again being hounded to come clean on his tax returns and explain why he stashed his boodle overseas rather than invest in America, but even if he has contrived a strategy to deal with those matters, after Obama, how does he sell his signal achievement during his brief stint in political office - RomneyCare and the individual mandate that he had promoted and enacted?

And, let's consider his skimpy political resumé: He held political office for a grand total of 1 term (Under that brief ascendancy, not only RomneyCare was passed into law, but same-sex marriage was first achieved in the US - "Call me Trendsetter!")

Those who got their frillies in a bunch over Obama's meager 3 terms in the Illinois House and 4 years as a US Senator are suddenly impressed by a dude whose elective experience at age 70 would be considerably less than that of their nemesis at age 47?

Willard, older that Hillary, would also effectively cancel the dotage issue for the chronic kvetchers in the same way he nullified their individually-mandated universal health coverage tantrum .

They would do better to follow their bliss and indulge their nostalgia by going with their kind of candidate:

I hear you. And believe me, just because I can't stand Obama doesn't mean I like companies like Monsanto. Companies like that are even more dangerous than political parties.

America and Canada so desperately need a better vision for the future than extreme atheists are feeding us.

We need a vision that fits better with the Dr. Masaru Emoto research:

Even if Mitt Romney could be convinced to run again he would not win the nomination in 2016 and that's because by the time that rolls around the Right is going to be so enraged at the Left that they are far more likely not only to go for a hard core rightwinger like Cruz but pull a 2008 on the nation and ram him down voter's throats . . . despite everything the leftwing media can do to shriek "Vote for Hillary!"

So instead of basically forcing a moderate candidate to pretend to be a far wing conservative to appease the morons in this country (like they did with Romney), you are essentially saying that the GOP will put a "real" far right wing conservative as their presidential candidate in 2016? Man, that would be hilarious.

(Shrug) Truth to tell, I have absolutely no idea who's going to be the last GOPer standing come the end of the primaries in 2016 just as nobody knows if on the Left it's going to be Hillary Clinton or some other poor sap. But I do think that unless the Right manages to front someone actually distasteful to Independents -- as opposed to the leftwing media TELLING voters that the man or woman is distasteful -- then the next president will probably belong to the Republican Party; but moderate or conservative? No way of knowing as of yet.

On that note...... I think that I should attempt to explain how it is theoretically possible to revive the American economy by taking real events..... such as whatever is happening in American politics.... and turn them into a series of documentary, reality and semi-reality science fiction projects that... if combined with organized barter and volunteerism........ could make made in the USA films a driving force in the entire world economy!!!!!!????

But the concept of a Utah State Dollar as a possible way to stabilize the USA dollar in the event that perhaps enemy nations begin to dump the dollar is an option that should be seriously discussed!

The following film has at least some artistic value that could be transformed into diplomatic value and even economic value in the right hands!!!!!!

Most people would just laugh..... but my wife is Pentecostal and I have been shown over these past 13 years that I have to take Pentecostal/Charismatic spiritual gifts rather seriously!!!????

So by this After Hours do you mean that in your opinion Mr. Mitt Romney is one of the most intellectual and open minded of Republican Party Leadership hopefuls?

In your opinion.... would Mr. Mitt Romney be one of the most likely Republican Party Presidents to attempt to do something concrete to attempt to protect the two million Gay men living in Uganda who are worried about how they will be treated over the coming years and decades?

President Obama did well to warn the leader of Uganda regarding the bill that almost got passed.... but......

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/world...486066-9d63-11e3-878c-65222df220eb_story.html
Ugandan leader signs harsh anti-gay bill, ignores warning from Obama

I was rather encouraged how well this topic was received over on a Christian forum:

    http://www.christianforums.com/t7728763/
God's many plans for the Gay community???????
I am pretty sure it is over five years since I read the NDE of Mr. Christian Andreason. His NDE account has had a major impact on my life.

As a former follower of Mr. Garner Ted Armstrong and his dad Mr. Herbert Armstong I must admit that these statements put me into some serious cognitive dissonance at first!!!!??

    .near-death.com/andreason.html#nine

Five or six years later on and finally I feel confident enough to go into specifics as to what I strongly suspect are a few of the actual plans that the God of Abraham, the Creator of heaven and earth has in mind for the Gay community!!!!

    ..........
Do you agree that God has plans for the Gay community?
Yes, God owns this studio, we are the actors playing out our role! 6..... 23.08%
No, God would never compromise one millionth of an inch with sin!!!! 8.... 30.77%
Yes, deep down we all love God and He has good planned for all of us. 10....... 38.46%
I have really never considered this idea before??? 6..... 23.08%

Ah, but you right wingers are all about putting a "real conservative" in office, right? So why a moderate in 2016?

You guys are always telling everyone how your ideology is a proven success, so why not run a far right wing conservative in 2016?

    - - - Updated - - -

I'm no Mitt Romney fan, however it was fun to see a moderate pretend to be a far right wing conservative specifically to pander to the low information morons that make up the GOP's base.

Why should the U.S. have any role or responsibility in protecting them? Constitutionally speaking, maybe a President Romney would act to protect them and then let the attorneys sort it out later.

I personally was hoping to convince a majority of the people of the State of Utah that they need to initiate a Utah State Dollar.

If they were to connect this Utah Dollar to many series of documentary and reality films that take place in Africa...... the Utah Dollar could become one of the greatest forces for economic development in that continent.

Once the LDS do something along this line then other charitable groups would probably follow suit. It really could turn out to be more of an attitude by government of backing up socially active Americans as they reach out to other nations.

Eh? I can't answer that since I'm neither a Republican nor an actual conservative. Seek for those answers elsewhere; and good luck.

    Cool signature Right Wing!

I personally rather fear the consequences of what might happen if we do not do a better job of reaching out to the poor both within the western democracies but also in other nations as well.

Note..... Anne Rice... author of the Vampire Lestat series was so impressed by his extensive NDE that she published it for him. I read it several years ago. It was amazing. It is entitled "My Descent Into Death!"

Do you think that I am being silly to take assertions like this seriously:

    Read more at http://endthelie.com/2011/04/09/glo...-the-death-of-the-dollar/#kICURjCXkFAOBEVw.99

I have been attempting to promote the idea of people forming local currency groups just in case............ but wow....... a full fledged State Dollar backed up by a group of people who tend to be highly socially active.... has amazing potential!

A true conservative would look like a moderate these days, but there are no true conservatives in office or running for office. Not one with any chance of winning.

All we have as elected officials is extremist nutjobs and corporate sock puppets who are confusingly called moderates only because they are constantly talking out both sides of their mouth depending on which way the wind blows.

Right, you just side with them on nearly every issue just for kicks and giggles.

You may be a registered independent, but you most certainly lean conservative.

Reagan was a paid spokesperson for the republican party, a bill board persona to convince the religious conservatives (nut jobs in their own right) the democrat party had abandoned the radical conservative views for socialism, and that their only salvationwas to become a republican and elect republicans.

There are true conservatives but they are closer to independents, or just lost in the two party scams shuffle.
