If Trump is not removed through Impeachment, will we lose in 2020?

" The Public" has no say in this...Congressional Republicans do and they will never listen, that much is painfully clear. Thus if they maintain the Presidency and house do I see the loss of our Republic and decimation of Constitutional intent. The separation of powers is already almost gone and the Senate part of the executive so it wont take much to push us over an edge.

 

What we know is that, from this point to the election, any bombshell announcement made by any leader in the world that benefits Trump in any way, should be accompanied by a Congress hearing of the corresponding ambassador, any Trump appointee who lately flew into the area, and Rudy Giuliani. And a big big box labeled "Anonymous Whistleblower Reports" for which only Adam Schiff has the keys needs to be installed in every Federal Government building in the country.

Your conspiracy nonsense aside, Trump won in 2016 without a track record or experience in government. What the past three years since then have taught me, is that Trump has run a successful presidency for our nation, and Democrats can't be trusted to tell the truth. This places Trump ahead of where he was in 2016, and the Democrats farther behind. Consequently, Trump looks to be stronger in 2020 than in 2016, and should be re elected handily.

 

Based on the U.S. economy and no new military conflicts alone, President Trump should be having his likeness chiseled on Mount Rushmore.

The Hill reports, "New polling showing public opposition to impeachment has some Republicans along with officials in the White House voicing skepticism that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will go through with a vote on articles of impeachment.

"While Pelosi has not guaranteed there will be a vote, it’s hard to imagine she would risk a backlash from the Democratic base by cutting the process short after two weeks of public hearings."

Many disagree with that statement. Pelosi is a savvy politician. She knows the purpose of impeachment is to remove the President. She also knows that a failed impeachment attempt could very easily result in having the opposite effect.

Many Democrats saw the hearings as providing damning testimony against Trump. “The hearings were nearly flawless and extremely damning for the president,” said an aide to the Democratic House leadership.

So what if public opinion is against the Democrats. So what if the votes aren't there and impeachment fails. The clueless aide talks like impeachment will remove Trump, or is itself the end result. Neither is true.

There are serious doubts the savvy Pelosi and Democratic leadership will continue with the Articles of Impeachment if public opinion isn't there and neither are the votes in the Senate.

Instead, Pelosi may decide to keep making Trump look bad and let the American voter remove him in November.
