This is one of the biggest problems with welfare. Here is a woman who has had 7 kids while on it and the only Liberals answer is well you can't let the kids starve and go naked. We must keep giving her more food stamps and money. We no, that isn't the only answer. Require her to get fix after the second one or no more welfare is the answer. Lock up the fathers that aren't supporting them.

 

Welfare is cascading and inner generational.

The article also states it is unclear why she is entitled. Generally speaking, illegals are not eligible for welfare benefits. However, there are exceptions. Whether she meets that exception or not is a good question and needs to be investigated. The only two exceptions I know are being a victim of a sex crime or being a victim of domestic violence.

This isn't the biggest problem. This example you have provided is an exception to the general rule. Most illegals do not have seven kids are on welfare. Some illegal women are actually married to U.S. citizens or LPR's. And yet, they cannot adjust status because of the immigration code. Some came here as children and stayed, thus making this country their home and not their place of origin. And there are other reasons.

For her, she is stuck. One the one hand, as a parent, she has a responsibility to seven children. Welfare may provide that assistance to help her raise the seven children. On the other hand, she is illegal and thus cannot work. Her only violation, based on the article, is crossing the river illegally at a young age. She is the perfect example of why there needs to be immigration reform. If there is reform and she can adjust status to where she can work, then there is a chance that she can get off welfare.

But it also requires employers to be willing to hire here. For employers to be willing, the reintroduction of the long term welfare receipents or having minor children needs to be included again in the Work Opportunity Credit. Additionally, she may need assistance to go to school as a a condition of recieiving welfare so that she can get back to work. . .

 

A woman who has all these kids with sperm fathers---and who refuses to work to support them is trash. Sould have kept her legs together.

Parasites like her should be jailed and then deported. Children of illegals should never receive benefits or citizenship.

Of course the 14 Amendment should be thrown in the dumpster along with most welfare entitlements.
