In the context of this part of the debate a couple of people expressing opinions does warrant a 'so what', how is that contradictory to the overall debate?
The contradictory point is that you don't want governemnt involvement in the individual but you fight for a law that would increase that involvement.

No, I don't want government involvement for the individual. The woman is not the same individual as the fetus inside her.

If she is not then let the individual inside her vacate and live its own life .. oh sorry it can't can it as it isn't capable of doing that.

Still waiting for an answer as to how you are going to ban abortion without having more government involvement with the individual.

And yet, in many states in the USA women are allowed to have their babies torn apart, limb by limb, even though the baby DOES have a chance of being able to survive outside the womb.

(did I mention head crushing with a pinching instrument ? )

^when that procedure is performed, the fetus will not survive outside the womb. Its too early.

gotta love it, anders posts a pictire of an instrument used between 1750-1850 for extraction of a fetus AFTER death in the womb

Everytime Anders you post something that is inacurate, makes you look rather silly.

I was specifically referring to time period between 21-24 weeks, when the fetus does have a chance of surviving outside of the womb. Chances of survival at 23 weeks is up to 35%. So why are women allowed to electively abort a perfectly healthy normal fetus at this point?

Because it's the law :) :) :) and they WANT to and you can't stop it and YOU wouldn't want to if it was bi-racial or had Downes Syndrome....

Got anything newer than 1850 ??? LOL!
